OMG you are so courageous to learn French !

I am French, and I admit French is craaaaazy to learn !

We still make a lot of mistakes as well, especially in grammar !

Be strong, take heart, and listen to Celine Dion French songs ^^

Je veux apprendre le français à cause de Céline.

Français n'est pas facile. Mais, j'aime french. J'étudie français en l'école. J'aime étudier le français. Je suis en Français Trois en l'école :) Edited by CelineDionFreak

I didn't know love until they loved me back to life because somebody loves somebody!

Le temps qui compte pour Celine est maintenant! post-26465-0-84517800-1427302581_thumb.gif

I got most of that. No it is not easy, I know you love it and something about school. And thank you Caledor for the correction. I don't know how to make the little accent things on my talking computer, but thank you anyway.

Bonjour à vous, les courageux qui apprenez le français !

Aujourd'hui, je vous propose de découvrir quelques expressions en français =)

Vous verrez des différences drôles entre les deux langues:

- Quand les poules auront des dents --> When pigs could fly !

- Une fois tous les 36 du mois --> Once in a blue moon !

- Pauvre comme Job (poor man in the Bible) --> Poor as a church mouse !

- Riche comme Crésus --> Rich as Croesus ! (easy !!)

Et une dernière spéciale Céline:

- Nuits blanches à Seattle --> Sleepless in Seattle

J'espère que ceci vous encourage dans votre apprentissage du français !

I have not understood a word of most of the posts lately but that's okay. And how exciting to live in France. although, I hate to break it to you all, and her, but not everything is possible. I'm never going to see again and that's not possible, so that is no longer a true statement. :(

I've wanted to learn Celine's french since she was 15 years old. As I read the posts, I get one word here and there; but is too hard to learn this way.

Me too. That's my main reason also. Wow, Cynthia, you have been a fan forever. Dang. How have you maintained that, through the good and lean years and through all the in between years? LOL Did anyone get that? :) Sherri, I am the same way. Taking Spanish in high school sorta kinda took that out of me, knowing that the rules are different. I'm the kind of person who likes to not only know how to say something, but I want to understand WHY it works a certain way.
