Second-hand Record Stores in Europe?

Hey all,

 

So, I'm planning to travel around Europe (Amsterdam, Reykjavik, Paris, Stockholm, Zurich, London) in February/March next year, and I was wondering if there's anyone local who can recommend a good record store or two that stock second-hand Celine Dion CDs and records?

Hello Chris, in Paris you can find Illogicall Music, the adress you can see in inernet by Google. This shop has many Celine CDs and vinyls, but most of them are very expensive.

Yeah, I visited their website a couple of times, and they really are expensive. I've seen a few CD singles for €30, when I managed to buy the same ones for €5 on eBay!

Don t go to illogical boutique if go to france. Prices are mad and the seller is one of the rudest people i have ever met.

In Paris you also have Lucky Records (Rue de la Verrerie Metro M1 Hôtel De Ville)

 

In Amsterdam there is Record Mania (Ferdinand Bolstraat 30)

Concerto Utrechtsestraat 60

I don't know when you are planning on coming but there is also a small recordfair ar Rai Amsterdam september 27 and the biggest of Europe is november 22 and 23 at Jaarbeurs Utrecht.

I'm planning to come over in March next year, so the fairs are definitely out of the question, unfortunately.

For London its only really berwick st that has any 2nd hand record shops of any interest anymore. And for Celine stuff really the only one i visit is 'music and video exchange' but that only has promos as they are released otherwise they all sell out, so its good if yr visiting around the time of a singles release...but otherwise fairly useless.

I remember Beano's in Croydon... they were the place to go for second-hand Celine CDs and vinyls. But, unfortunately, it shut down a few years ago. Beano's was the main reason I came over to London every year.

 

I've been to Music and Video Exchange and a few other record stores on the same street (can't remember what it's called), but I was never lucky enough to come across anything. Maybe this time round!
