Angel2006 Posted August 27, 2014 at 08:41 PM Posted August 27, 2014 at 08:41 PM I was looking on the official Celine site and they were celebrating national picture day by posting all there meet and greet pics and stuff like that of Celine. It got me to thinking about that booklet you can buy at the end of the Celine show, where you take a pic with the Celine wax figure. I have not seen everyone's wax figure booklet photos from the Celine Show and I thought it would be cool if there was a topic dedicated specially for posting wax figure pics from the Celine show. Angel2006 Posted May 31, 2016 at 05:23 AM Author Posted May 31, 2016 at 05:23 AM I started this topic awhile ago and there have been no posters. I was wondering does anyone have pics of themselves posing with the Caesars Palace Celine wax figure? I would love to see everyone's pics from the past and also current pics aswell. I love seeing people posing with that figure in particular, because it's right at Caesars and they take your photo professionally with a nice booklet and everything. I would love to see everyone's booklets with wax Celine from the show. Quote

I have my picture taken with it, but unfortunately I don't have it digital Ms. Dion looks awesome with the diamond, the elegant hairstyle and the dress! But the wax figure next to her, seems kinda strange. Edited June 8, 2016 at 01:21 PM by Moleque20 1 Quote Les étoiles tombent une à une. Mes émois sont de saturne.
Angel2006 Posted June 8, 2016 at 05:57 PM Author Posted June 8, 2016 at 05:57 PM (edited) I like the Caesars wax figure. I think you have to see it in person to really appreciate it. For some reason, it doesn't translate the same in pictures as it does in person. It's strange because it really does look like her when your looking at it in person. I was very surprised when I saw it for the first time. It really did look way more like Celine then I was expecting. Seeing pictures online doesn't do it justice. When you see it in person the makeup and everything is perfect. There's no orange coloring on her cheeks. As soon as you see it in a photo, for some reason the cheeks appear orange on film and the face doesn't even look the same. I don't know if anyone else agrees with me who have seen this statue in person, but I really did think that when seeing it face to face, it looked so much like the real Celine. DionFanAlways Posted June 8, 2016 at 11:00 PM Posted June 8, 2016 at 11:00 PM Honestly I really don't like any of them, especially the latest one in NY I think. Just my thoughts but it's time to retire the one in Vegas.(It won't let me post the pic.) Quote I have had the time of my life following this woman! Much love.
Angel2006 Posted June 9, 2016 at 12:20 AM Author Posted June 9, 2016 at 12:20 AM The Caesars Palace wax statue is the one that Celine herself posed and got measured for. It's kind of the specialist one of all the statues for that reason, even if it doesn't 100% look like her. It would be cool if they could somehow not change the statue at all, except for the hair and updating the Oscars dress to the silver sparkly dress from the Vegas show to look a little more current. I remember Celine being very involved in the making of it. Visiting the studio where the statue was being made and checking on the process of it all. It was very exciting back then, wondering what it was going to look like as I am pretty sure that was the first of many statues that followed. For all those reasons, the Caesars Palace Celine statue will always hold a special place in my heart! Quote
