Fan Campaign #1 Single in the UK LMBTL

What better way to show Celine and Rene we are thinking of them than to get Loved Me Back To Life to #1 as a single in the UK!!! Rage Against the Machine fans did it...why can't we??

Celine mentioned how this song is one of her favourite songs albeit difficult to sing night in and night out. It is one of the best singles off the album and such an apt song for the situation they are going through....As die hard fans we can love both of them back to life!!! When we make this happen will be a resounding message to her from her fans that we will always love her and be there for her. Instead of discussing her hiatus on the thread let's get into action and send her a clear message!!!

This would be a resounding victory as well to mainstream radio in the UK which has shunned our queen recently...massive two fingers up at convention getting this single to #1 without airplay.

Indeed it is a bit ironic.

..but the song depicts the ultimate outcome we want to achieve...Celine heals Rene by standing by his side and the fans love her back out of her hiatus... Glad we beginning to get some traction...all global fans can make this happen in the UK...more details to follow

I understand that using a certain code fans from other countries using their apple id's can download and count towards the UK sales...it has been done in the past with the AC DC campaign last Xmas here...

Whilst I admire the idea this is something that quite simply wouldn't work.

 

When Celine herself was in the UK promoting the song on the country's biggest TV show the song could only get to #14 - her highest charting single in 10 years!

 

Your comparisons to Rage Against The Machine and AC/DC are flawed as these were media backed campaigns against the monopolisation of the Christmas number 1 by the The X Factor winners. They were also launched during a time when 90% of the general public purchase their ONLY single of the year.

 

Again just to reiterate, I admire the idea and wish you the best of luck but I cannot see any outcome where your wishes become reality on this one.

Agree with the comments above. let's be honest it is not going to be an easy achievement but I am willing to give it my best shot. AC DC and Rage were going for the #1 position in a very competitive time frame indeed where you would actually have to shift large volumes on singles to make this happen. We would of course chose a much quieter time to do so analysing any future releases. UK sales factor in digital physical and as of June 2014 streaming as well. I have emailed Sony music to get their backing particularly with with regard to discounting the single on Amazon. Celine has major celeb supporters who we can use to tweet to their followers where particularly for Rage this worked well..I will share more of my analysis when I am done but of course to get this off the ground will need forum member support to manage the fb twitter etc accounts and drum up support....

The key thing here is timing...if we fans work together and time it together I am sure we can do it

...heck if we are really focused there is.no reason why we can't get 3 of her singles off the album owning the top 3 spots!!

I like the idea and I think it's commendable, but I don't see how 50 (just throwing this number here, I have no idea how many active members visit this forum regularly and participate in anything) people buying the single could change anything.

I'd have thought Incredible would've been better. Purely cos of the fact that people who wanted lmbtl would already have it. Not everyone would have got the album. And if the campaign worked tv would have the mv and ne-yo is still about.

Agree with comments above too. I thought of LMBTL because Celine likes the song very much...it's a song that can bring all fans together at this time in helping Celine and Rene come out with the best possible outcome...Sia loves Celine and am sure with the right interaction we can get her to tweet her followers as am sure Neyo...who regardless of song choice are very supportive of Celine. we don't necessarily need a mv on TV to support this campaign... All done via social media. The LMBTL video of her in Quebec is also more befitting of her being in her hometown with her multitude of adoring fans. We can get this campaign on to Celines radar for sure...with the right noise...no publicity is bad publicity.

We are going for #1 position on the chart release of October 26th. 2months to make this happen. There will undoubtedly be some big hitters releasing having checked the latest schedule of upcoming releases...Rita Ora lily Allen Tinie tempah...but so what....all the better when LMBTL by Queen Celine is sitting a top the charts!!'!

From the 29th of June streaming services like Spotify, Rara, Deezer, Napster, 02 tracks,and Music Unlimited are included in the chart numbers. 100 streams count as one sale. This is subject to a min 30 second stream for it to count limited to 10 streams per user per day. Can we make LMBTL the first UK #1 based on streaming alone and bag a record as we go along...yes we can!!! like the Facebook page and people let's get going!!!
