FANTASTIC!!!

Hey everyone, I’m BAAAAACK!

 

OMG I don’t know where to start. My mom and I drove up to Vegas together this time; we got there around 2:00pm & checked into our hotel room. We decided to stay at the Flamingo, which is a great hotel for the price, and it is located directly across the street from Caesar’s. When we checked in the lady at the front desk upgraded us to a room with a view of the strip, which was amazing. From my room I could see the Belagio fountain show on my left and Caesar’s was right in front of me with the big Caesar’s Palace sign that shows a video clip of Celine’s show that I watched 100 times. BTW…Good news, the video clip that they were showing had Celine with LONG CURLY BROWN hair. So maybe that means they re-shot the DVD.

 

Anyways…After we checked in we went over to Caesar’s so I could pick up my ticket for that nights show, then we had lunch at the Stage Deli (I strongly recommend it to anyone who goes) and we did a little shopping. After that we went back to our hotel so I could shower and change for the show. Around 7:00pm I headed back to Caesar’s to meet these two amazing girls (Marisa & Kelly) that I met on one of the forums. I was sooooo excited to meet them and they were so nice. Once we were let in to take our seats (I was sitting in VIP Orch. 4 row FF seat 408) I went down to the front row so I could talk to the girls more (they were sitting in row BB). Just sitting in the front row gave me chills. I kept thinking that Celine would be right there on that stage in a matter of minutes. Once the show was beginning to start I reluctantly returned to my seat and prepared myself for what I was about to experience. For those who have seen the show, you know what I mean; it is like some kind of outer body experience. Words can’t possibly describe it.

 

The cameraman had the crowd roaring with laughter when he started panning the audience. And at that point I knew it would be a great show. But it was when the light went down and I heard that angelic voice that my emotions really got the best of me. Tears just started rolling down my cheeks and my heart was racing.

 

Celine was glowing, more so than ever before and her energy was contagious. As the show went on it just got better and better. If I ever doubted whether the entire show was live or not I can now say with 100% confidence that the show is completely live. Celine was in such a good mood and added/improvised to most if not all of the songs. She laughed and hummed a lot more than usual. The songs that seem to stick out the most are BYLM, IA, SM (she made a lot more seductive noises than normal), Fever (Celine didn’t say my favorite line “Get me down” when she was getting off the piano this time but she did make several funny faces after the dancers put her down.), & IGTWOAS.

 

Then after I Surrender (I believe it was after this song but I could be mistaken) the entire audience gave Celine a huge standing ovation. We clapped and screamed until our voices were hoarse and our hands were numb. The ovation had to have gone on for 5 minutes at least. Celine was so taken back by our response that I her eyes began to glisten. It was at that point that I yelled out “I love you, Cline”, which is not normally something I would do but I was having such a great time. Celine responded with her normal “I love you too” and I was so excited that she responded to me. Then after I say a few others blow Celine a kiss I decided to do the same and she blew one back at me and winked.

 

Pour Que Tu M’aimes Encore was perfect. As much as I love Je T’aime Encore I think I love PQTME more. Right before she sang PQTME she introduced the song as a beautiful song written by JJG, and at the mention of his name a few of us let out a little yell and she said “I know woohoo”. Then she said it was the biggest song of her French career and said it is about loving someone so much that you would give anything in the world for that person and that is something many of us know about. It was the sweetest thing.

 

For LCMM we all stood up and danced and Celine shook her butt at the end. There was a camera filming the performance so maybe that was for a DVD. Then came my new favorite part of the show, IDAN. I had sooooooo much fun during this song. I was up dancing and singing with this really nice lady and her daughter who was sitting next to me. When Celine sang the line “I drove all niiiiiiiiiight ” there was a handful of us who started doing the driving gesture that Celine does. After a few times Celine started to smile and even laughed a little. It felt really good to know that Celine acknowledged how involved in the show we were.

 

Finally when Celine began WAWW I knew the show was coming to an end. I think I cried more at that point than I have cried in a long time. When things came to an end Celine gave the rose to a lady in the front as usual but had Elijah (the guy in white) give 4 more roses to a group of little girls sitting in the front too. As I said before Celine was in a great mood, before she walked off she joked with a few of the dancers and it really seemed like she didn’t want it to be over yet.

 

After the show I met up with Marisa and Kelly again and we waited for a few of the dancers to come out so we could get some pictures. I ended up getting a picture with Michel (he is so sweet), Aaron (a really nice and cute dancer), and Andre Coutu (the guitarist). We hung out for a little while longer then returned to the hotel.

 

The next day I went back to the Boutique to do some shopping. I was a little depressed that I had to leave so I didn’t buy as much as I would have liked to. I did end up buying, a AND…t-shirt, the AND…sandals, 3 bracelets, and a key chain. I also sat there and read the updated epilog in My Story, My Dream.

 

Well I guess that’s it. Overall it was the best show I have ever been to and I can’t wait for the next time I get to see it. I’m actually currently planning a trip in November and I can’t wait.

 

I will post picture in the next few days as soon as I can finish the roll of film and get them developed.

I so want to go and see her show. I am gonna start saving up my money and see the show sometime. You are so lucky to have watched the sign of her show. I wish I was in your shoes. What was the highlight of the show? I listen to the AND...LILV cd all the time and picture myself at the show singing along side Céline. Again, you are so lucky.

I agree with the 100% Live! I have seen 5 shows now all from either the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th row and you can tell that she is singing live.....she always sings the songs differently.

WOW Stacy, sounds like you had an amazing time. And I'm still one of those people like some on this forum who has yet to see Celine in Vegas. I WANT TO SEE HER SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO BAD!!!!!!!!!! But we're just at the opposite end of the country, and don't have the time right now with all this busy stuff going on. So I really want to see her so bad, every review I read sounds better and better like her show is PERFECT! But congratulations on a great time!

Omg... it's been like 6 months since the show I really miss it. There's no way I can go there again, unless I win the lotery LOL. But I know I'll see her again! And I'm looking forward for this day to come... though I'll have to wait at least 5 years LOL
