What car do you drive?

Recommended Posts

I'll be getting my permit this coming January to begin driving. I'm nervous, so I want a reliable and sturdy car! I'm pretty petite, 5'5, so SUVs probably aren't the best for me. I'm interested in the Kia Optima or the Honda Accord.

What do YOU drive, and what would you recommend for me? :)

I drive a beetle volkswagen from 1969. It's better for the environment to not buy a new car IMO.

It's a classic and looks great and fun.

I'm 5'6, I drive a Honda accord, awesome car! I would go with that or a Honda civic if you want something smaller. I have both and highly recommend either. Good luck!

Toyotas are also excellent and reliable - and I think tend to be slightly less expensive than Hondas. The Camry is comparable to the Accord.

The 2014 Camry saved my moms life so I vouch for Camrys being excellent! She is very petite, 4' 11" lol! Walked away from a totaled car with bruises!

Toyotas are very reliable. I'd love to have a Tacoma off road TRD with AZ pin striping (scratches from desert flora). I have an Altima. 6'4" Edited by brujocrow

I have the new shape VW Jetta. Very nice car. Our whole family drives VW. My husband drives a slightly older Jetta, and my son drives a Polo. Have had VW cars since we got married, 38 years. Very solid and reliable cars.

I've had a Toyota Corolla in the past....it was my first car, actually. Great little car and very reliable! I had it for 14 years before I leased my Kia Sportage and now I drive a 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe. After having a small car, I wanted to go up in size. Plus after having a child I needed a little bit more space. I'm 5'4" and both have worked well for me. Personally, don't know if I'd go back to a sedan. I like them but I also like the idea of being higher up on the road.....w/everyone else's huge cars.....I don't feel so little lol.

'96 Ranger, extended cab, 3.0-liter V-6 and a five-speed stick.

It has been a tough, reliable truck. I'd buy a new one if I could. Ford stopped building them in 2004.
