Special Moments with Celine and/or at Her Concerts

Over the years Celine fans have had some pretty amazing experiences with Celine or at her concerts If you're one of those lucky fans who have met Celine herself or someone who is a part of her family, team and/or band it would be awesome to hear your stories And it would also be great to hear about anything special that happened at any of her concerts that you've been to!! And here's my story to get it started last year i saw Celine in concert for the first time on June 19 in Vegas and while we were waiting to go into the colosseum, my mom caught Rene walking out and going into the casino and when she told me that she saw him i freaked out and we went over and waited for him to come back and when he did my mom had to get his attention because when i tried i was too in shock! my mom introduced us and he shook our hands!! i just looked up at him and smiled i honestly could not say a word i just couldn't believe i was standing in front of Celine's husband/manager it was the next best thing to meeting Celine Then my mom asked him if he could tell Celine that we said hi and he said he would and after he walked away i burst into tears i just could not believe what had just happened to me!!!!! My story is simple. Went to watch her Vegas concert this past January. During BYLM, she walked to our side of the stage, me and my friends waved our hands hysterically to her, and she saw us and waved back. That's it. But that is enough to make me happy even until now. That is the first and only two way interaction I have with her for all these 20 years.

This is a great idea for a topic.

When I went to see Celine perform on X factor when she walked out everyone went crazy , after people calmed a bit and started to sit down I stayed standing and made a heart sign with my hands and she looked right at me smiled and waved, my friend & I freaked out.

In Paris outside her hotel , she signed an autograph for me , when we said we where from Ireland she smiled and winked at us.

That's pretty much it but it was amazing!

Chatted to her bodyguards in Paris a few times too. And had Rene walk right by me twice. I was totally star struck by him too!!

My story is kind of simple to. I yelled out I love you to Celine at the end of BYLM and she said it back, then I got to touch her hand and exchanged a hello as she walked past me during her duet with herself.

 

I was hoping she would notice my twin sister sitting right beside me. I was to nervous to even do anything. I was just frozen. All I can remember was her big beautiful eyes looking back at me, her super happy smile and her lips moving, in what seemed like slow motion saying hello. I wanted to introduce my twin, but it all happened so fast.

 

The most special part was her energy in the room. She just lit up the whole coliseum with her beauty and happiness I remember she literally glowed. It was like I was witnessing a live episode of Touched By An Angel right before my eyes. LOL. Seriously, She glows like a golden goddess in person and don't even get me started on how amazing her silver sparkly dress looks like in person. Soooooooo much more stunning in the flesh.

 

The dress sparkles so much more seeing it live, then in pictures. Pictures do not do any of Celine's Vegas outfit's justice, You have to see them in person to really appreciate the beauty of the costumes in this show. They are amazing!

 

I didn't even like Celine's white dress before I saw the show, but it's stunning on her in person and I love that dress now!

 

I can't believe it has already been 2 years since I saw Celine's Vegas show on June 17th, 2012 and almost 6 years in Aug that I saw Celine for the first time on her Taking Chances Tour in Toronto. Two days in my life that I will never forget that's for sure.

 

This is kind of off topic, but I got a new pc recently and ever since then I can't seem to be able to quote anyone. I was just wondering where those last two pics of Celine that are in a row, a couple posts above my post are from? In the middle pic it looks like Celine has made a new fan video or something.

 

I wanted to quote the post with the pics directly, but my computer is not letting me. It's not letting me post pics either.

 

I think I will have to email Koolan and get this problem fixed. I'm pretty sure it's because of my new pc, that its not allowing me to do certain things.

yes the one in the middle is from a recent short video she made talking about her Asian tour (which you can find on the Celine Dion Greece) and the other two are recent pictures she took with fans backstage at Caesar's i just edited the pictures so they would fit together

You are so right her dresses are so much more beautiful in person and she does light up the whole auditorium. My special moment was that she walked by me in the dark before HDYKTMP in vegas all I remember was how she sparkled with glitter and how beautiful she is in person. Like an angel really. Also Rene walked by my seat before the show and how he is really handsome in person as well. He got totally mobbed by fans wanting pics but he loved it and smiled the whole time.

I never touched her, talked to her, never really met her.

 

But I must say that there were some moments in the concerts that I attended that I felt a special conection with her.

 

It's something I just can't explain, but I remember my heart pounding fast everytime our eyes would meet. And it happened many times. A wink here, a smile there.

 

I guess Celine has that power to make you feel that she's singing just for you. I felt that way.

 

And it's something I'll take with me forever, that moment when her eyes lock with yours is just so special.

which aisle did she walk down because im going in January and i have an aisle seat in section 3 and that's the aisle she walked down the last time i went i just hope that she walks down the same aisle every time

My special moment would be the first (and only as of right now) time I have seen Celine live. I went to Vegas and saw her show on July 5, 2013, and had bought a seat right along the aisle that she walks down for HDYKTMP. I was extremely nervous and happy that evening and when she walked down the aisle, she stopped right about where I was sitting. While she was singing, she was looking at me and we locked eyes for about ten seconds or so. I was just completely mesmerized by her. I wanted to shake her hand, but I was very nervous and unsure about what to do. I definitely want to return to Vegas, and I hope that she'll perhaps remember me and I'll get to shake her hand.

I can't quote people either and I have a PC. I wonder what's up with that. Well anyway, back to topic, this is a great one, Leah. I agree that she has a power to make you think she is singing just to you. Since I can't see, this was especially true in my as of yet, one and only time to go hear her. When she said, is that all right, Sacramento, it was like, hell yeah! LOL Duh! Of course it is, wht wouldn't it be? And when she talked about never having been there before, but how we were going to make up for lost time, it was awesome. I know it was a big arena, but I still have this gnawing feeling of, what if she looked over and saw three girls who looked either blank, or like we weren't having any fun? We're just blind and not able to facially articulate/express that, but I for one, was. The other two weren't really big fans, but it was amazing. I hope to have a moment with her someday. But when I hear her songs, it already kinda feels like I do!

Leah she came through the right hand side door, right if you are facing the stage. Walked between front and rear orch sections. I sat in rear orch section 201 if that helps. That was 6/4/13. The other 3 times I went she came in through the back and I am not sure which door. Hope she walks by you!

I tried to meet Celine a few times but none of them were successful the closest I've been to her was when she walk to the stage in Fort Lauderdale for the Taking Chances tour, she walked right beside me but everyone was screaming and jumping that it was impossible. Also, when she was arriving at the venue in her car she lowered the glass and wave but it was sooooo quick.

Anyway, while I was trying to do that I had the chance to meet her mom, she was so sweet and nice, she kept talking to me in French and this woman next to her was translating, that was funny.

I also met some of the dancers and bodyguards.

All in all I had great experiences, and I hope some day to meet her just for a few seconds and take a pic with her, I would cherish that forever

Great topic! :-) I had a few special Céline moments.

The first one was when I was in Vegas on July 8th 2012. This was the first time I ever saw her live and when I saw her on the stage just afew meters away from me, my heart almost stopped beating! It was so overwhelming to see her in person, the REAL Céline!! And "Open Arms" with the curtain falling etc. was amazing! Sometimes it's still hard to believe for me that this really happened ;-)

My second special Céline moment was during that same show when she sang "Because You Loved Me". My friend and I had bought BYLM t-shirts and we wore them at the concert. I think Céline saw them because when she sang the song, she looked straight at us during the first part of the song. I felt such a strong connection to her in that moment, it was absolutely amazing!

Another very special moment was her concert at Paris Bercy on the 1st of December last year. It had always been my dream to see one of her French concerts because seeing her sing in her native language is a very overwhelming experience. The concert was incredible, one of the best she ever gave!

My last special Céline moment is also my most prescious Céline memory: I met her in front of her hotel on the 2nd of December 2013! I didn't get to speak to her or take a picture with her, but she signed two autographs for me - one on a piece of paper and one on my mobile phone case She was standing right next to me for at least 30 seconds, but I couldn't move or speak, I was totally in shock ;-) She looked SO beautiful! And the best thing: Someone filmed the whole incident and put it on YouTube (the video where she plays a fan's ukulele), so everytime I have these moments when I can't believe that it really happend, I can watch the video again and prove to myself that it wasn't a dream ;-)
