Will be going to the July 2nd show! Very excited since S'il Suffisait d'aimer was just added and it's my mother favourite song (We're from Montreal). Who's going?

Saw the show tonight! Was in row DD, orch 4, seats 5-6. Got an upgrade 1 hour before the show!(was in 1st mezzanine). You really have to feel this concert live. Any bootleg doesn't do justice to it. Simply the best voice ever combined with an amazing show. She was really happy and always smiling, waving to fans, etc. Anyway, pay 250 $ to see this lady performs is one of the greatest thing I did in my life. It was my first time at the Colosseum and I hope to come back one day. Here's the setlist for those who are interested:

Maybe some new changes would be profitable. Overjoyed and at seventeen could be dropped, as the opening song imo. S'il suffisait d'aimer was perfect with the orchestra, violons, etc. Incredible, people loved it.

Crowd was quite calm but went wild after All by myself and when Titanic began. Clearly her non-fans wants to hear this signature song. As the james bond medley is quite good, I think it doesn't quite fit in the show, used to fill time. But overall, pretty good experience! Such a lovely woman.

Neat review! Yeah I do agree the James Bond was kinda cool when the show started and it still is, however something else could fill it better! HDYKTMP and At 17, they aren't that bad... Although I wouldn't be that disappointed if they got replaced.

Richard Dunn, who filmed the now famous "All By Myself" McCarran Airport Video all by himself, returned to Las Vegas today with his family! He will meet Céline and see her show this weekend!

It sucks that Celine is sick and had to cancel the show. I was just thinking that it's around that time again, where Celine usually gets sick. I was hoping that maybe it wouldn't happen this time, but it looks like this is becoming a regular thing for her now.

 

I hope she gets better soon. I'm glad Celine is taking the time she needs to rest and hopefully she will be singing good as new soon.

Respiratory infections are the worst. As a singer myself, it's extremely difficult to keep up when I get colds, flus, etc.

I suffer from sinus infections and I always feel miserable when they flare up so I can't imagine the extra stress of trying to sing on that.

We all know she absolutely hates cancelling shows. Poor Celine

I got one after spending 5 days in Vegas. That dry heat is terrible for a Floridian like me! I'm used to humidity.

I was in Vegas for 9 days and I had awful nasal issues the whole time. I am from Florida too and it's too dry out there for me

It looks like people are talking about Celine's infection more actively on here, so I just wanted to know if this sounds serious to anyone, or is this just the case of her nose stuffed up an infected and she has to rest for awhile?

It does not sound like a serious health issue (at least not to me). But, I certainly understand her need to cancel the show in light of the infection. I am happy she did instead of trying to force her way through it and causing damage to her vocal chords. Of course, I am sorry for the fans who had tickets to attend the show, but hopefully they understand she has to take care of her health as well.

 

A sinus infection can make you feel gross and miserable. Based on the message on the official Celine Dion website, it appears that the infection has now caused her vocal chords to swell. Hopefully, with rest she will get better soon!

 

But, if you are worried this is serious, I would highly doubt it. A lot of people get sinus infections. It isn't some rare thing. But, in her case, once it impacts her vocal chords, it impacts her job. So, she has to rest. I do not know how long infections typically last, but I am willing to bet she is receiving the best medical care. Hopefully with proper rest she will be better sooner rather than later!

I think she hasn't canceled a show since February 2012, so she's been pretty healthy lately, at least on her show dates.

A sinus infection is not a serious health issue, but it does make you feel horrible. It can be associated with a fever, coughing and lots of mucus.

Compared to the larengytus she had at one point, this is not serious per se but could become so if she doesn't take care of herself now. I used to be a singer too, yay we have some singers in the house, LOL, and it knocks you out physically, mentally and energetically for a while. I've never had one, but I've heard they take about a week to get over. It's the swollen vocal cords that are the problem, if exercised/not take care of, it could get worse. And, as has been pointed out, she hasn't canceled, I think it was actually Feb. of 2013, but still. I think it has been a long time since she canceled, so I wouldn't necessarily call this a pattern. I just hope she is as good as new very soon!

Celine is performing at an event for Saint Justine Hospital on July 16, so it looks like she's feeling better! I am glad it didn't take her long to get well again.
