CelineDionFreak Posted June 27, 2014 at 05:53 PM Posted June 27, 2014 at 05:53 PM So I've seen that EOM had a video, but it wasn't released. Can anyone explain why? Were there any pictures from the shoot? Woulda loved to have had a video from EOM! 1 Quote I didn't know love until they loved me back to life because somebody loves somebody!Le temps qui compte pour Celine est maintenant!
Nando Férri Posted July 1, 2014 at 04:50 PM Posted July 1, 2014 at 04:50 PM There is no music video for EOM. We only have a promo tour, with a lot of scenes where she performs it live. And we do have a promo clip that she recorded while she was filming TCH, just to make the TV add. She "sings" a little bit of Alone in that promo too. 1 Quote http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m4ejungtQy1r9swpco6_250.gif
peanut91 Posted July 1, 2014 at 05:28 PM Posted July 1, 2014 at 05:28 PM I still like the remix version of EOM with will i am. if sony did their jobs (*looks outside8, nope no pigs flyring!) they would have released that for taking chances here in the U.S 2 Quote
GameC Posted July 1, 2014 at 05:31 PM Posted July 1, 2014 at 05:31 PM I have in my collection such video which lasts 2,37 minutes. Seems to be original (at least original promo eg. for TV). DVD quality and .vob type. The video contains EOM version (no other songs) performed on TCWT concerts of the external type (this particular is probably from Africa). Celine and dancers are dressed in red black costumes. Her performance is interwoven with pictures from different places and concerts of TCWT. I think that they made it somewhere in the half of the route, because pics come only from Africa and Asia. Quote

TC was her attempt at edgy, but it's not as well as LMBTL! 2 Quote I didn't know love until they loved me back to life because somebody loves somebody!Le temps qui compte pour Celine est maintenant!

CelineDionFreak Posted July 2, 2014 at 02:42 AM Author Posted July 2, 2014 at 02:42 AM Well I love EOM... It's my favorite off that album. It's so amazing, along with New Dawn and Fade Away. I just think LMBTL did a better job vocally with what she was trying to accomplish. 2 Quote I didn't know love until they loved me back to life because somebody loves somebody!Le temps qui compte pour Celine est maintenant!

I just think LMBTL did a better job vocally with what she was trying to accomplish. I have to disagree with that. TC was about having a more edgier sound, LMBTL is more of an modern refresher Dion is still Dion, but shes choosing songs that are similar to todays pop. The only difference, when you hear a song like adeles rolling in the deep, something today that is considered vocally difficult to sing, or like beyonces listen, both are slayed by celine. Theres more of a raspiness to her voice. instead of focusing on technical stuff, shes running free so to speak. but again the 90s was about technical voices, how can sing the highest, longest, etc. it was more about proving your worth to the industry. thats why the 2000-2010 it really slumped back. Dion stayed stable and strong. now that the eras passed, we could see a better celine. She can capitalize on her voice even today, because face it, there arent many that can fill in the shoes of the 1990s, many try but fail and rap is becoming less important. 1 Quote
mike_z Posted July 2, 2014 at 06:00 AM Posted July 2, 2014 at 06:00 AM The key is: there are no fillers or crappy songs on LMBTL, plus her voice finds a lot of new colors... For instance... many people thought "Shadow Of Love"... or "Skies of LA"... or "Right Next To The Right One", "I Got Nothing Left" etc were fillers... I found there weren't really STRONG songs on the album. LMBTL is just one masterpierce after another... the only song people might disagree on is "Save Your Soul". But the first half of the album is perfection. As for the second half.. we might disagree on the direction taken, but each one of the songs are beautiful . Classics written by the best of the best. And you can tell by the reviews. LMBTL really got very good reviews, while for TC they were mixed. The only really good songs IMO where "Taking Chances", "My Love" and "Surprise Surprise". "This Time" had potential but they ruined it by copy/pasting all of the choruses. Quote

But that still doesn't mean they aren't good, they just aren't my favorite. My non celine fans went to an anime convention with in may, i played save your soul in the car, they loved it! They were saying that is the type of sound, the type of music they would like her to do more of. The beat to that song is vary modern, her voice sounds great and rap version was pretty good. For almost every non celine friend I have, i tested out that song, they love it waay more than incredible 1 Quote
