Anyone catch Celine today on The Dr. Phil Show? Dr. Phil surprised Michelle Knight with a trip to meet Celine backstage. She said she used to sing MHWGO to survive the 11 years she was held in captivity. They showed a clip of her meeting with Celine in Las Vegas at the end of the show. Very touching.

Yes! Celine looked absolutely GORGEOUS in that green dress. And it was a wonderful thing she did for that girl

Michelle said she sang to herself, and one of the songs that got her through was “My Heart Will Go On” byCeline Dion, who currently performs in Las Vegas at Caesar’s Palace. Through tears, Knight sang along with the video.

Dr Phil surprised Michelle Knight with a trip to Las Vegas to see Celine’s Las Vegas show and meet her one-on-one backstage. That sounds like a great reward for her.

After the show, Michelle Knight was all dressed up for her chance to meet with Celine Dion! “You are not only a survivor, but an amazing source of inspiration for the world,” Dion told Knight. “I’ve met many heroes in my life. You’re one of them.”

She dedicated that performance of “My Heart Will Go On” to Michelle. “It helped me from killing myself when my heart wanted to let go,” Knight told Dion.

darn i missed this!!!! :( i was @ work that evening so i didnt get to watch that episode of dr. phils show... & i like to watch dr. phil on the days im not working, & i also am inspired by michelle knight & the other 2 girls from the cleveland kidnapping, amanda berry & gina dejesus, who all have survived such a horrific ordeal & who all finally have their lives & freedom back... :)

 

 

& im glad that michelle had the opportunity to see celine in vegas & to meet her, michelle seems like such a sweet young lady & shes around the same age as me... now im also wondering about this also, but after watching these videos, is celine back in vegas right now or was this interview w/ michelle knight & dr. phil filmed months ago???? because i thought that celine wasnt going to be back in vegas until later this year or whatever, idk about it because i dont keep up w/ celines vegas show schedule much, i only go by what i read on this forum... & you keep on going michelle, you are such a strong & brave woman, go girl!!!! :)

She actually returns to performing on June 10. I do keep up, LOL. I also watch Dr. Phil regularly, am a fan, but I missed this one. Someone on FB told me about it and I had to reschedule something to see it. I know that song is overplayed and the die hards don't like it anymore, but I now hear that song with fresh nw ears. That song, that singer, helped save a woman's life, that's HUMONGOUS!!!!!! I would reae her book if it was out in audio!

I have been thinking about writing to Dr Phil telling him how Celine Dion music helped me get through the most difficult times in my life like during the pandemic. I also have been struggling with depression for the Last past 13 years and during the pandemic it got worse which resulted in wight loss loss of appetite sleep problems and muscle spasms. Meeting Celine Dion is a dream that I had since I was young and I hope that one day I will get a chance to meet her. I have some things I need to tell her how much of an inspiration she is to me and how much her music means to me.
