Don't know where to post this but Mauranne, the belgian singer who sang "quand on a que l'amour" with Céline in many TV specials died today at 57. Lara Fabian has already twitted her tribute. Hope Céline will as well. Il always thought that they genuinely respected each other as singers...

Hi, everyone! I know I haven't been on here for quite a long time. July was a terrible month for me so I really hope things will get a little bit better now.

Spent the past few days putting these shelves up in my spare room in the new place. Just a few of my vinyls. I can only fit 40 on this shelf but i got many more. I am pleased with how it turned out.

I keep wanting to believe my family will step up and help their own parents. I keep getting disappointed and let down. I would get angry but that solves nothing. What lies beyond anger, sadness and betrayal? Keeping with the forum theme, I would guess with so many brothers and sisters, Celine has run into some degree of that too. Most families do I suppose.

Man that was nice!

I working on doing something like that myself. Bought a couple of vinyls with cool or nice covers just for that purpose. Bought music I didn't even listen to but had a nice cover. Now when I saw this I feel I must get my #ss off the couch and just do it. Thanks for showing and inspire!

To ask the topic question....I'm thinking of nothing. I am home sick this week cause I had an inflammation in my elbow. And I'm just waiting out the time. Can't do anything since I can't use my left arm.

Wow yes that one is fantastic. I've listened to that one countless of times. Gives me goose bumps every time. Thinking also they didn't use computers at that time so I know it is Elvis that really do the singing. No auto tune and stuff. His voice for real.

And they have really made it well in terms of keeping it sound like the original and adding the orchestra in exactly the right places. I feel many of these orchestra versions the orchestra over power the original music. If you know what I mean. But here it is used perfect and adds another layer to the song. To the better!

Thankyou for your kind words. It seemed like a daunting task at first, but once i got rolling on it everything came together pretty simply.

Followed wrestling for years but recent years I've been not that active.

Man didn't know this. I've totally missed this. Sad!

He was clearly one of my favourites in the Hart group. Liked him more than Owen. Thought he was cooler than Bret.

Lmao😂😂

I always have to explain to people it may look like i like them equally based on that but its not the case.

Mariah. In the lp format i just fall in love with her albums. I can listen and enjoy.

With celine, that is mostly the case too. But i fully enjoy her as a person, her career all of it, keeping up with it and watching her evolve and the live performances. My celinism is so much more in depth. Lol

Sitting here thinking when I want to change the speakers in my hometheater...... also what stuff do I have that I don't need or use anymore that I can put up for sale instead of it laying in the basement and collecting dust. I have never sold stuff before until recently, first I thought nobody wanted it so why bother and two I always thought you never know when you need it again. But the last thing never happens. Would it happen it probably better to buy a new one anyway. Last couple of months I've put some stuff up for sale and they DO get sold. Never thought they would. TooK a week or two and maybe some lowering of the price sometimes but it's ok, better than just been put away in the basement and not get used. Instead you get some extra cash, which doesn't make or break my life, but it is still money I didn't count on. And it feels really good getting rid of lots of "garabage" and people paying for it :w00t:

Your president is causing me anxiety, and I live on the other side of the globe! Some checks and balances in congress might not be a bad thing. And wouldn't you like to see those tax returns?
