^^Saw the movie the other day...mildly entertaining ... the song is quite better.... Don't you think that the actress had the weirdest face that have starred a movie in years... not beauty... not ugly... but not interesting.... strange... Also, I read in a review that Sutherland (the senator) was there like a bad joke, even him was not believing in her character... hahaha truly right comment... a very bad performance...

I checked it and the movie itself was blasted hard by the critics

that actress' name is Emily Browning, and at face value, she looks really nice, maybe it's just a matter of opinion :-D

I'll have to see the movie and then I'll tell you what I think of her acting skills :giggle:

about the song - it's Ok (or even more than that), first heard it in the German national final for Eurovision, Madeline was kinda my favourite, too bad she lost :)

I've heard about Anggun (apparently "Snow on the Sahara" is her best known hit to date), she released a French album lately together with Natasha St-Pier.

about the other lady, not a clue who she is :)

btw, I'm trying sooo hard not to listen to LOREEN's new tracks from her upcoming second album before it finally gets released in August - I'm really tempted to do it but at the same time I don't wanna spoil the surprise. B) Edited by Jeff Abbott

How about I just heard Sia's new song 'Chandelier' on tv yesterday (Some weird production, she didn't even show her face. I just caught the middle) and I have had it on repeat today. It's really catchy! :music:

Now I'm listening to the other singles and I like them too lol!

I just read she hides her face because she doesn't like what Fame does to a person. She just likes being a voice...that's pretty interesting.

I have always said a punk version of any Barry Manillow hit would scream its way to the top of the charts.

good for you :)

I just found out that "Only Love Can Hurt Like This" was actually written by Diane Warren, I wish she created something new for Celine as well.

Leonard Cohen just released a new cd at the age of 80- that's a nice project to check off his bucket list! He speaking more than singing but the words are powerful. I like his music so this is a short and sweet addition to his long and illutrious musical career.
