Hey Guys,

 

So my GF claims to dislike Celine because she read somewhere that Celine didn't speak to her children for some number of weeks because she had to save her singing voice. Now I feel like this is super wrong.... But I can't find proof, and all I can remember about her dedication is that concert she did in TTEOFTW "doc" where she sang even though it could have ruined her singing voice forever. Now we all know that the boys are Celine's number one priority, that few things are more important to her than the boys, so someone help, help me find an article proving that she didn't NOT speak to her boys for weeks on end just to save her voice. That's not like her and I need my GF to get over this weird dislike of Celine for something she didn't do... Ya know? Am I making sense? I think my night night meds have kicked in....

I think your GF is wrong. Back in the 90's Celine used to not speak for days/weeks at a time. But since having kids that's not the case.

Celine still goes on vocal rest from time to time but certainly not for weeks on end like the 90s.

And she has said since having kids she is not as strict cos you can't be when you have kids. I'm nearly sure she said somewhere you can't not talk to your kids or something like that. I could be wrong and it could be something I dreamt up lol

She might have said something even more recently, but this is the only inteview that came to my mind where she addressed it directly. She likely said it elsewhere, but, obviously, I do not know all of her interviews. I only remembered this one because I was recenty looking for her latest performance on The View and this interview came up as well. I feel like at one point she did an interview where she said something like you have to talk to your kids because you can't mime what you need them to do, but I just can't remember the interview. If I find it, I will post it.
