I first saw this wonderful actor in October in Turkish TV series 'Son' and movie 'Labirent', and I instantly became a fan. I later found out that he has played in the Poirot series ('Wasps' Nest' episode, 1991), in 'Prince William' (2002), in TV series 'Rosemary & Thyme' ('Agua Cadaver' episode, 2006), in the 2010 TV version of 'Macbeth' (starring Patrick Stewart) and, most recently, small roles in TV series 'The White Queen' and 'Jo' (starring Jean Reno). His theatre credits include roles in 'Twelve Angry Men', 'Twelfth Night' and Cole Porter's musicals 'Anything Goes' and 'Silk Stockings' among many others. Actors from all around the world who have the gift, the skills, the passion...but never get enough recognition (although he might be well-known at least in the UK, I don't know). On the other hand, we have those 'stars' who are so overrated and much more famous than they deserve to be. Yes, they are all actors but some of them are truly devoted to what they do, others seem to do it just for the money. Your thoughts? I started watching 'Son' because of Turkish actor Yigit Ozsener but then Martin Turner stole the spotlight for me. I liked his character (a compassionate Amnesty International employee working in Iran) and surely enjoyed the way he played it. I became a fan and just wanted to see more and more of Martin...which unfortunately felt like a mission impossible since there's very little about him on the net. Quote 16 YEARS A FORUM MEMBER

I was so flabbergasted, I didn't know what to say ... as an actor, what do I know about rap? It's not something I relate to - it's something that irritates me when my 16-year-old daughter is playing it at the wrong time of day.So I said OK, and it's been huge fun. It's not like opera, but the pounding music fills in the emotional landscape. And as for playing Reagan - isn't it amazing, when we're so used to Bush and his ineptitude, that when you look at Reagan's speeches he's positively eloquent?
