Long time fan....new member.

Hi,

 

Having been someone who avoids message boards like the plague, I've finally signed up here having had a scan through and it seems like a good place to be!

 

I'm Gemma, im 26 and I'm a primary school teacher in the south of England. I am in charge of the music in school so run choirs and things which is a lot of fun.

My kids spend most days listening to Celine as I play her music a LOT in class!!!

I've been a Celine fan for a very long time, I was brought up listening to her music as my Dad was a huge fan. In 2014, it looks like I will FINALLY get to see Celine perform live in Vegas. There's a back story which I won't go into now, but this will be a big achievement, a promise I made to someone that I wasn't sure I would ever fulfill so I'm very excited.

 

Just got to find someone to come with me as my friends don't share my passion, haha.

Welcome Gemma!

I´ve only found friendly people here. I´m Luciana, 32, from Brazil. I´m biologist and a work with publishing companies, making science and biology textbooks for elementary and high school.

And I´m going to see Celine in june 2014 for the first time, accomplishing my second biggest dream once I´m into Celine´s music since I was 10.

I´m also going alone because none of my friends and family members share my good taste! It seems Celine´s fan is a lonely specimen.

 

I´m sure we´ll share a lot in here!

LOL yes it is. Hi, welcome to the forum, Gemma. What a pretty name. I would personally like to thank you and all the teachers out there and anyone who makes the lives of kids better. Thank you all for playing her music and introducing a whole new generation of children to her music. This is how we keep the music playing, LOL!
