It confirms what I thought. I thought it was a private concert for a big company or very rich people. Recording french magazine she earns 300 000 euros per concert. 10 concerts 3 000 000 euros. I guess she earned more for the sole private concert

Sorry I have to say this, but I find it insulting that she does new (acoustic) and live versions of her songs in private/exclusive concerts and then when a real concert for fans is coming, they always do the same arrangemnts and even using playback

This is a true slap in the face to fans. As if the money we pay isn't enough for her to actually sing live for once, some of her older hits. The Edison concert hall performance provided a great opportunity for this, but at this rate I'm sure by time celine retires in a few decades we will be left with a playback performance at her farewell

Since MHWGO was completely live, I bet the entire concert was completely live too (like the one in Brunei).

Yes, but it is likely that she took out songs like IACBTMN, TPOL and ABM. I highly doubt she has sung these live at private events in the last 10 years.

 

Out of all her playback songs, MHWGO is the one that is performed the most live.

Wow, could this thread be any cattier? Sounds like ten cats in a bag. One minute I read your comments about having the best concert experience ever recently in Paris and a few days later it's back to bitching and moaning. This forum is getting so tiring. I only come back now every three months or so as all the complaining from so called fans drives me away. Once again I leave this forum wondering why I bothered.

The only thing catty I see is the post above that attempts to belittle the opinion I expressed. Sorry that it is unfavorable and that you disagree, but celine chooses to make lip syncing a part of her show, which is all fine and dandy but in doing such it should be expected that it opens the door for criticism and posts like mine. I only express my opinion of distaste for the lipping because I know how amazing celine sounds now and I know she could sing any of her playback songs live and totally nail it. As a fan it frustrates me to see her lipping at such a good vocal point in her career. many of us on here would have a great respect for a genuine live version of a song that hasn't been sung in a decade or longer. A performance of such would mean more to big fans like us then people with money who wouldn't even know the difference between her lipping or not. reliable source, she sang only to private show was done for important people from the United Arab Emirates. She left on November 25 ten minutes after the concert at Bercy to go this event and returned to the hotel in the morning to 01 hours

Wow, I figured it would have been during the day but after an entire concert she did another one completely live? Wow. She sounded very well rested and better than the playback in the mhwgo clip, I would not have guessed she already sang 30+ songs already

On a side note, I wonder if during this private event she performed an actual full-length concert (like the ones at Bercy) or a mini concert (about maybe 6 or 7 songs). The latter seems more logical.
