Hard to believe we have no post for today!

 

I hope everyone has made it to Paris today. Whats everyone up to today?

I went to the Musee Eugene Delacroix, got the new box set and current edition of ONCP at FNAC on the Champs Elsyees where they were playing 'Somebody Loves Somebody', had lunch at Chez Clement on the Champs Elysees and for the first time I went up the Arc de Triomphe. What a day, and that's all before the queen takes stage!

Woo hoooooooo!

 

Lovely day, Alex! We went up Notre Dame cathedral for the first time, and went to some stores, where I found some Celine stuff as well, including the new box set of past French albums and the ONCP as well! We have walked like 10000 km these past few days, and my damn knee hurts so much I can barely walk, but I'll get to the stadium even if I have to crawl. :laugh:

We got Ziggy! We got Regarde-moi!!!!!

What a fabulous night it was. THEE best concert I've ever seen. Celine was on fire and Paris craved her. The audience was fantastic.

Man, I wish it was thr Paris shows they were doing for the DVD.

 

People can *CENSORED* and moan all they want about the old songs, but those are the ones that the audience loved the most.

 

I am on cloud 9!!!!

I loved it ! Such a thrill to see Céline again ! I recorded the show but I fear I won't have time to edit it and share it before the end of the week. Anyway, I'll share it for sure !

Yes! When the camera passed by, I told hubby, smile so we won't look ridiculous on the DVD. :laugh:

 

I agree with the old songs. Bercy and Sportspalais almost fell down with a lot of them.

Who knows what other surprises will be waiting for the rest of the minitour.

Just woke up singing PAMP and remembering the excitement from yesterday. :wub:

 

Wish I could stay longer, but can't wait to get home and work on some Celine stuff.

Can you detect the final note in TLDH? Sounded great! Also, the high note in the bridge of QPVSA is an E5, right?

 

Yeah man, actually both notes are E5s!!

She's not belting them like she used to some years ago but who cares, her mid range hasn't been this healthy since the 90s!
