As promised, here's the bootleg from the first concert in Antwerp last night. It's not HQ but, much better then the audio from the Red Heads that I've heard so far. Please let me know what you think! If it's not good, maybe I can try tonight again. I've uploaded it on 320 kb/s. If there's something wrong with the link or download, please let me also know that. And maybe a little thanks would be on it's place ;-)

I'm gonna review the show, song by song:

 

1- Je Ne Vous Oublie Pas: wow, amazing, her voice is so crystal clear, sounded just like the album version!

 

2- Dans Un Autre Monde: good, good stuff! her voice is so powerful, didn't go nasal during the choruses, I'm amazed, and her head notes were pitch perfect unlike the Quebec concert! perfect ending, with a run displaying 2 full octaves

 

3- Parler A Mon Pere: Definitely the BEST live version so far. She always struggles with this song because she has to constantly go back and forth from her head to her chest voice. But she managed it a lot better than on the tv special and the Quebec concert. 3rd time she sings it live so far. First time I actually enjoyed it without suffering for her! I'm so happy we finally got a good live version of this song that has become one of her biggest hits in her french career Can you guys see the similarities with "Tout L'or Des Hommes"? same song structure... same songwriter

 

4- IACBTMN: nice playback, very emotional (BTW, she actually sounded more nasal in the pre-recorded tracks that in the actual live songs)

 

5- TPOL: quit it Celine!!! quit it!!!

 

6- On Ne Change Pas: also a lot better than the Quebec version! she sounds really relaxed. Her voice is less strained. The adlibs were heavenly

 

7- Destin: also better than during the TCWT and the Quebec concert, where she struggled with the higher sections. She sounds a lot less strained now. Could be a bootleg from 1999! Holy Dion, she sounds so young!

 

8- Immensite: first time she sang this song live.. yeah she forgot the words, but her voice sounded AMAZING! It's one of the best songs from "D'elles", finally some justice to it! Don't forget it was a #6 hit in Belgium! And the high note was so powerful!!!

 

9- Qui Peut Vivre Sans Amour?: BEST live version of this song again!! I'm so glad she's still performing it live. One of the best songs on SA, and it's great for the stage! Nice E5!!! A bit forced at the beginning but she nailed it!

 

10- Je Crois Toi: drawn to heaven once again with this song. Her breathy voice is that of an angel. Again, this could have been taken right from the SISDA/LTAL tour! I can't believe I'm listening to this in 2013. Nice interlude Elise!!

 

12- La Mer Et L'enfant: beautiful. as good as the album version. also best live version of this song! no nasality at all. especially the low notes, they sounded perfect.

 

13- Celle Qui M'A Tout Appris: oh she did it again! best live version of this song! FLAWLESS! I wish we had a professional recording of this concert! I can tell she was well rested. Those low notes sounded so full and clear. she's always had problems with them and sounded nasal, nothing of that this time! This is a beautiful song... Therese must be so proud. She's lucky to still have her around. I wonder if she was at the concert!

 

14- Where Does My Heart Beat Now: hmmm. Suddenly she doesn't sound as lively Again, more nasal than the live songs! The last note was good though!

 

15- Terre: this song is ace!!! sounded even better than Quebec once again! I'm flying back to 1998/1999! She just cracked on that F5... she doesn't seem to have the easy super high notes like during the TCWT, but the rest of her register sounds fuller and more powerful!

 

16- Tout L'Or Des Hommes: best live version ever of this song! great song, great to hear it again!

 

17- Je Sais Pas: great version. A bit sad she's not belting during the instrumental. You can tell she was struggling with those E5s at the end! She hasn't belted high notes in a long time and probably she's not warming up that part of her register!

 

18- Loved Me Back To Life: a little disappointed that they lowered it. she had some pitch problems as well. Not as epic as it should have been. U don't get goosebumps unless it's in the original key.

 

19- Water And A Flame: first time she performs this in a big stage. And let me tell you, it works!!!! I'm smelling a new classic Celine song. It looks like she loves the song as much as we do! great live version!!! I love the way her voice seems to soar during the choruses. And how she managed to balance her "bedroom voice".

 

20- At Seventeen: great live version of this song. maybe better than the album version. Her voice sounds so young here.

 

21- S'il Suffisait D'aimer: I loved how she toned down her nasality, you can really tell she's been training her voice with a teacher. Just speechless. beautiful.

 

22- All By Myself: haha she messed up and started again! Fun moment. Props for the only classic ballad that she still sings live ... well, almost live! Great ending!!

 

23- J'Irai Ou Tu Iras: GREAT version!!! And she belted 3 G5s! She can still do it!!!! <3

 

24- Love Can Move Mountains: Long time no see! Nice F5s! And she can still hit her A5! It's the only reason I'm happy she still performs this song!

 

25- River Deep Mountain High: hahaha can't believe she messed up with the lyrics! She's struggling with those D5s in the choruses but she can still sing this song! was that a superhigh Bb5 in the end?

 

26- My Heart Will Go On: I won't bother reviewing this song

 

27- Pour Que Tu M'aimes Encore: it was fine. she messed up in the end.

 

28- Le Miracle: "du reve au miracle..." this song is not a good encore, but I must admit it was a beautiful rendition. Possibly the best live version of this song so far! I'm delighted about her low notes, they don't sound nasal as usual! she's really trying this time!

 

29- Je Ne Vous Oublie Pas: nice surprise for all the fans there! very good idea! I wonder if she improvised it. The crowd was going mad!!!! And her voice sounded heavenly :wub: :wub: :wub: :wub:

 

 

 

Overall, in the Quebec concert she'd had lots of pitch problems, maybe because she could hear herself well, now she made up for that! she sounded better than ever. I really missed the Plamondon Medley and JNPBD!!

The beginning of Tout L'or des Hommes is fun because you can hear some fans saying things like "huh?" and they can't seem to realise it really is Tout L'or des Hommes! When they do after a few moments they start cheering. Nice surprise, TeamCeline (or whoever brings up setlist ideas)!
