True. But a singer who isn't even singing live. :hmm: It's all she has, the singing, she doesn't write songs, yet she lip-synchs in concerts for fans. I don't know whether to judge her for that or justify it in some way.

 

If she sang every single that she performs live by the this time and probably earlier she would have no voice. It'd be shot. She still sings a good portion of songs live or just lips certain parts (ie the big not in ABM). Her voice is stronger than ever and its because she knows how to take care of it. To be able to still have the vocals she has now is because they are smart and have her lip certain things.

Guys guess what!!!!! For sure this will be on a DVD cuz today Celine appear with Julie Snyder at the hotel and the same camera man!!!!!!!!! This is going to be in the new dvd im sure 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁

Well my week in Paris is over. Flying home tomorrow. The concert was fantastic! So was the soundcheck and the gift bag. Bought so much stuff at the merchandise stand one of the VIP hosts had to help me carry everything to my seat :) Stood outside her hotel yesterday for over 2hours and today for 1 1/2 hours - she didn't sign autographs. Didn't have time to make it back to her hotel after last night's concert either. Really disappointed about that... and by disappointed I mean :crybaby:

She's overworked. Too many Vegas shows to do, needs to save her voice for that. Rene shouldn't be such a slave driver. ;)

If she was doing the number of shows she did in the A New Day show I'd agree but she is doing even fewer shows as this current run has continued. And the songs she sings live in Vegas are not that strenuous mostly and she lips the ones that are so I wouldn't say Vegas is over working her

I think that it's because she is a perfectionist that is why a few songs she lips a few songs.

I feel sorry for whoever was driving her car. Getting through that crowd without hitting anyone is an amazing feat!

She doesn't get to experience this in Vegas , it's like sing , go home , there is no real interaction with the fans. So this must be so much fun for a change!! Like its been 6 years since her last tour! Even at the shows , the audiance were going wild cheering , stomping feet, chanting Celine , Celine!

She was loving it but as always so humble and still taken back by all the love she was receiving!

I don't think I've ever seen her so free.

She doesn't get to experience this in Vegas , it's like sing , go home , there is no real interaction with the fans. So this must be so much fun for a change!! Like its been 6 years since her last tour! Even at the shows , the audiance were going wild cheering , stomping feet, chanting Celine , Celine!

She was loving it but as always so humble and still taken back by all the love she was receiving!

 

There's no question about it, what she lives in Paris these days is hardly to duplicate in Las Vegas!! Everytime Céline goes out from Las Vegas to perform in another country is like they're taking the tiger out of his cage, its obvious! I remember back in 2005 when she came to Paris to promote On Ne Change Pas, you could see how sensitive she was those days, almost all the time in tears! I'm sure she was realizing what she had been missing in Vegas, and though I understand she has come to terms with that situation today, she wasn't having a good time in 2005 with Vegas and her busy schedule there.

 

Not in vain the song Je Ne Vous Oublie Pas arrived, "je fais mes choix et mes voyages, parfois j'en paye le prix" :)

wow, she's kissing everybody's hands, she's like the Pope, she doesn't give a damn about getting sick or being knocked off! just like Britney :giggle:

 

I'm so happy she's still passionate about what she does. Vegas has turned her into a machine, but in a way that made her trips out there really more intense and powerful!

This is true but it kind of works both ways. She comes on, sings then goes home. There is no interaction, or very little, with the fans (unless something unexpected happens) She recites her speech and then on to the next song. It'll be interesting to see her in Vegas with new energy! I think this mini tour, English promo is the best thing that could of happened to her.

Someone posted above wanted to know when Celine was leaving Paris... she left after the last show. While I was freezing my butt off outside her hotel waiting for her to hopefully come and sign autographs her family was checking out of the Royal Monceau. My sister didn't want to stand outside with me so she was eating lunch inside the hotel and saw Linda and the twins with all of their luggage at the hotel check out.
