i'm a lyricist, i write songs for a year and something and i believe i can help you here

i also wanted to write a thank you song, but never found the right words...right now i have no idea but i guees that tonight i'll think, cause i write almost all my songs at night....i wrote her some songs but they're not as a thank you.

Celine is very touched by the way she gets into people's lives so it would be nice if you say in the song that she makes a difference everyday.

This part runs so deep within me I love this part and especially when you get to the last line because all the words in the last line, when said aloud, are strong and deep almost as though you're stating a fact, which you are, but a person gets that sense that no matter what no one can change that fact. Well ... tell me if you don't agree but that's what i think.

advice? well just one: follow your heart and write exactly what you feel..oo...and if it doesn't work from the first time it will from the second! and!..not to forget that you don't have to "rush" the song, let it come smoothly! for example, i wrote "thank you" like this: from 12 to 2 at night(i usually write my songs at night) the first 2 stanzas and the refrain. then i had no more good inspiration, so i put it away and continued the same day at like 12 in the morning and finished it in 30 minutes.

sometimes it takes longer to write a song sometimes i write it in 15 min. but as long as you write from your heart and what you feel it's great!

 

but i can't say i'm an expert. i only wrote 37 songs and i'm on my way too. you'll see that with time, songs will come easier and will be more beautiful!

The reason I wrote "Thank You Angel Céline(Merci Ange Céline)" is because I wanted to thank Céline for the beautiful angel that she is.
