I'm right here with you guys! it's just soooo hard to resist! But I can do it! I must! With SA and TC listening to the snippets took away a bit of the excitement.

 

TCOML was the first Celine album I bought, the only song I had heard was Only One Road and I totally fell in love with it and Celine. I was so excited to go to the little store in our town and buy it. Holding it in my hands, riding my bike, hurrying home and listening to the whole CD immediately. It was amazing.

 

With Falling into you and D'eux, I didn't even know they were out until by chance I saw them on a store shelf! The surprise of seeing Celine's picture, the feeling of having new unknown material in my hands was exhilarating!

 

With LTAL I already knew it was coming out and I forced my parents to drive all the way to the nearest big city (60km) to get it as soon as it was released. On the way home I made them listen to it with me :giggle:

 

I could probably tell the story of getting every single album since then, hunting down the older ones, but I'd just bore you to death so I'll stop now :-D

To all the people who can wait for the release of the album before listening to any new songs....I just don't know how you can do that! I'm impressed. I can't resist! lol

Like I said, if we made it for 6 years (of fooling our expectations) why not a few more days? :shrug: :smoke:

This time I want this album right in my heands! No more fooling around SONY... -_-

Haha, I am so also already planning how I'm gonna get it on November 5th . . I'm not pre-ordering -- I want to buy the physical CD that day. I'm thinking Target, since they seem to have the exclusive on selling the deluxe edition. I work a couple of miles from a Target, and I'm already wondering if I'll have enough time to run there and back on my lunch hour or if I have to wait until after work!!

the music store used to be a 10 minute walk from my work so I would go over on my lunch to get albums. Unfortunately it closed earlier this year so the one I have to go to is too far to go during lunch so it will be after work for me.

The album is out in Germany on 1 Nov and UK on 11th. As if I am waiting 10 days, so I've ordered off amazon.de and will get it a week early. Of course I will buy copies from UK to support the UK chart placing and they will be Christmas presents.

I don't necessarily want to hear the entire album before it's released (oh, who am I kidding....of course I do! lol) but there's just something about waiting for it to come out & building the anticipation. That said, I'm not strong enough to hold out and not listen to what's already out there. However, it makes me that much more excited about this album. I applaud all of you that are truly waiting. You're much stronger than I am with this! B)

rrr yeah i have to get the physical cd on the day of release too, no downloads no mail order, has to be hmv as well - its like tradition. excited!! ive only listened to somebody loves somebody - none of the others if there are snippets available i dont know bt im not pursuing them.

i agree it has to be physical CD on the day of release. I used to always go to the same HMV to get my albums as well. Unfortunately that tradition ended with Sans Attendre as the HMV close to me closed. Good thing there's one in a nearby mall I can get to easily.
