Last night was my first time in Vegas and seeing Celine live. I can't even begin to describe how awesome it was. And of course she was stunning and her voice was pure joy. She had so much energy and passion.....truly amazing to see! Only thing I did notice is that they didn't use the water screens. I guess they're broken again? What I've been posting this last week has been from my phone & it's hard to type out a lot of stuff on there. I'd been anticipating this show since my husband first surprised me with the trip on Christmas Eve and since we bought the tickets in February (I think that's when the pre-sale was??). I was trying so hard not to let myself get too excited because every time I do something always happens and it ends up not working out (with stuff in general) so by the time I was sitting in my seat, I was about to explode with excitement! Once the curtain opened and I saw her standing there, I don't even know how to describe that feeling. I've waited so long to see her live (did I mention this was my first time seeing her live? lol) and that moment was so surreal. I half-way couldn't believe I was there and she was there! HA! I kept pointing at her at first telling my husband "she's right there!". He just laughed......I was like a giddy school-kid on Christmas morning. And then the curtain drop happened! I have to say, I think that's the most spectacular moment of the show. It just adds something extra to it. Of course, the entire concert was amazing. Celine was on fire and so was the audience. She shook a lot of people's hands and hung out for a good bit of time with the audience during HDYKTMP. Our seats for this show were in 1st mezz and I think if I had sat in Front Orch, I would've fallen over on the floor during that song lol. Next time, I will be sitting there! She even high-fived one guy while she was heading off stage for a costume change. As a mom, Billy Joel's song really touched me and I think I even teared up a bit.....especially seeing the video that goes with it. The only thing I was disappointed by was they didn't use the water screens for MHWGO. I guess they were broken or having technical difficulties. Other than the curtain drop, that was another main part of the show I was excited to see (did I mention what happens when I get excited about stuff? lol). I guess that just means I'm destined to go back to see the show again so I can see them! Overall, the entire show was spectacular.
