Hello From the East Coast....

Hello Everyone!

 

So I've had quite a bit of down time at work today and have finally had a chance to explore this forum some more. So far, I really like what I see! I've been a Celine fan for as long as I can remember!! She's such an inspiration for so many reasons.

 

Her music has always been a part of my life. I'm a bit nervous to admit that when I was younger, I was more of a closet Celine fan because in some circles it's not always cool. However, in growing up I learned those that really care won't judge me for it and if they do, I don't need them! In particular, the entire Taking Chances album helped me find the courage to make a lot of changes in my life and I'm much happier because of those changes.

 

Originally, I'm from Houston, TX (which will always be home) so I definitely have the TX pride going. Anyone from TX or who has lived in TX knows exactly what I mean. I now live in North Carolina and love it here as well.

 

Anyway, I just wanted to introduce myself and say hello to everyone. I'd love to get to know some more Celine fans and I definitely love hearing everyone's stories. I hope to have my own Celine meeting story one day, too! (The right way, of course lol)

Hey Liz, welcome to CDF. Hope you continue to enjoy it here. A lot of people didn't care for the Taking Chances album, but I also liked it a lot and found the songs very thought-provoking. As for being a closet fan, no need here LOL!
