Alright, I will try to this weekend - No, my Mom and I were just about the only two in the whole row that didn't... My heart was pounding too much and I was stunned that she was looking into my eyes haha. The guy next to me asked me why I didn't reach out - Just too starstruck, I guess.

wow , love that note !! don't think it was from june 23rd though, as wasn't there a "fight" during all by myself that night with some members in the crowd, she had to stop singing, id love to see a clip of that

The "fight" happened at the show that was on June 26th (Wednesday night). She was just barely starting to sing ABM when "the action" occurred. She stopped, and went and stood by Mego at the piano until it was over. Then she started the song again (to a round of applause), and finished it without any interruption. I had a bird's eye view, 'cause the guy causing the disturbance (which was very frustrating) was right behind me. The guy sitting next to me was the one that turned around to tell him to be quiet. The rest is history, and I was in shock and totally mortified!!!

The guy that angered everyone was drunk (smelled like it and even bought more drinks during the show), and would NOT be quiet. He didn't whisper either. He talked throughout the whole show. He was even talking during NMQP, and that's "the straw that broke the camel's back". He smarted off to the guy next to me, who had asked him to be quiet. So, my neighbor (who I didn't know) turned around again and shook his finger at him. Then the guy behind "the talker" said, "Yeah, be quiet!" The talker stood up to confront the two of them. My husband said that the guy behind the talker shoved the talker a little bit to force him to leave. I was in shock and so embarrassed. So, I don't remember every detail. I saw the guy fall in the aisle, and I was saying to myself, "Oh my goodness, we are going to have a knock down drag out fight in the aisle of the Colosseum!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The talker stood up, the guy who was seated behind him said something else to him and the talker threw a cup at him. Then, the talker's wife/girlfriend started cussing out the people who had been sitting behind them. Talk about shock!!! I couldn't believe all of this was happening at Celine's show!!! Security finally showed up, but they wanted to take out more people than the talker, but the guy beside me told them that they were innocent. Only the talker was the culprit of all the trouble. So, they were escorted out. Everyone booed as they left, and then applauded and cheered as Celine started the show again.

 

The next day, I spoke to someone who works the show. She told me that they had another incident in the mezzanine, and those people had to be escorted out. In fact, this person told me that, come to find out, those people were friends with the two by me. I told my husband, and he remembered them being down by us and then telling their friends that they were going to go on up to their seats.

 

I spoke to Raymond, the guy who plays the cello, and he told me that they've never had to stop the show before since it started in March of 2011.

 

I was on Front Orchestra 4, Row GG. So, the talker was on Row HH. So, that's how close to the stage this chain of events took place.

 

That was Wednesday. I spoke to Raymond after the hologram malfunction on Saturday night (June 29th).

 

Everyone was fed up that the talker wouldn't quit talking loudly. We all paid a lot for our tickets, planned the trip months ahead of time and travelled far to see Celine. I've seen the show 5 other times, and I've never seen those type of incidents before. The "fight", and the loss of 2 songs due to the problem with the holograms etc. So, my 2 Celine shows were eventful and caused a lot of disappointment for me, and I'm sure for many others.

Does anyone else think its adorable that Celine went over and stood by the piano with mego, If im wrong about this happening I'm just referring to the post made above, but I think it's very cute that Celine would go over To where mego was so he could protect her incase something happened , I find that to be cute, I also don't understand why someone would pay money for Celine show tickets and then cause a scene and have To be escorted out, makes no sense to me. I think it was probably more than a coincidence that two groups of people would cause a disruption at Celine's show. I wonder if they planned to try and cause the disturbance. Thank you for sharing what happened, roughly how long did the drama go on for? as in roughly how long had celine to wait before singing again? was she annoyed after wards or distracted? Its so cool how everyone booed that idiot as he left and im glad celine got cheered on again!! God you really did have a birds eye view, it must have been really awful and I would have had a mortified feeling too!!!!

Yes, it was awful. I might not know every detail clearly, because I just wanted to pull the covers over my head, and tell everyone to tell me when it was safe to come back out!!!!! I was so embarrassed, and I wasn't even involved!!!! I was in shock, because this was a Celine Dion show. She's a classy lady, and you just don't do things like that around her!! Of course, I wouldn't condone that kind of behavior anywhere, but you know how we feel about Celine. We are quite protective of her!!!

 

Once I looked at Celine, I saw how she was up by Mego. I found it quite cute as well. She felt safe by him!! Of course, my husband noticed how her bodyguards stayed at the stage, where they always are. They didn't move to do anything about the situation around me. They let security handle that. Their job is to protect Celine, and I would hope anyone else on the stage.

 

The talker talked throughout the entire show. Of course, the drama occurred at the very beginning of ABM (which is right after NMQP). He did quit talking for a brief period, but that's because he went out to get more drinks for himself and his wife/girlfriend. I'd say that the "confrontation" did not last longer than maybe 10 minutes at the most (give or take a minute or so). Time pretty much stood still for me during all of that, 'cause I really did go into shock mode. I just couldn't believe that all of that was happening, and I was right beside it. I had a friend with me who had never been to a Celine show, and I told her that this kind of thing was definitely not normal.

 

Up until the time that this whole ordeal started I thought I was going to come unglued myself!! I was about fed up with the guy talking. He was ruining the show for all of us!! It was super annoying!!!!!! When my neighbor turned and asked him to be quiet, everything could have been okay if the talker had just been considerate. The problem was started because due to the possibility of two things ( or both):

 

1). He's just an inconsiderate person normally that gets into verbal confrontations easily, and perhaps has done it before.

2) He had had too much alcohol, and it altered his judgment.

 

Celine went on with the show as tho' nothing happened. She did laugh when everyone cheered her on after the 2 people had left. It was like everyone was saying, "We're here for you Celine!!!! You go girl!!! Do your thing classy lady, 'cause we appreciate you!!!" It sort of bonded everyone in a way! LOL It definitely "woke the place up"!!!!

what a jerk, celine is beautiful, however you don't tell her during her live performance that she is looking good, and you certainly do not call her baby, she is not you baby, she is happily married with 3 children, I believe that if celine would have heard the man say that about his sister I think celine would have said something to the man because we all know how celine feels about the song at seventeen, and she knows what its liked to get picked on, to me that is a insult to celine,

God he sounded like a total muppet!!! Thanks for explaining what happened as I had a bad feeling for Celine, sounds like she dealt with it perfectly. Everyone must have been so annoyed though, Cant believe he said Baby!! What a dufus!!!!
