Celine sampled in a new reggae song

Canadian model and singer Jesse Giddings puts a new spin on "It's All Coming Back To Me Now," as he samples the Celine mega-hit on his new reggae/pop single "Back To Me" Featuring Tiana. It's produced by Kemar "Flava" McGregor, a Jamaican producer who has worked with reggae chartmakers Maxi Priest, Buju Banton and Capleton, to name a few. What do you think of the song?

You're welcome. I'm with some of you, I like parts of the song, and it's catchy. The good thing is that, no matter the musical genre, reggae, rock, R&B, country, Celine has fans that spawn all areas of music, and has influenced people no matter what direction of music they take!

Hmmm I am not really impressed, his vocals are a bit boring and the music is a bit too bare IMO

 

The most important thing of this song, is that it shows that Céline's songs CAN be performed in a different way, unlike her team seems to think

OMG LOVE it!! I think a lot of us forget that this song is 17 years old! For teenagers, that's old music! I was born in 1984, and I certainly thought that music from even the 70s was OLD music! This song is a homage to classic 90s music....and I'm officially making this the final track for "Jeff's Music Vol. 53"! I love it! IACBTMN is my favorite song in the whole world!

Absolutely! I remember when I was 14 and I listened to the radio and they said they'd play a classic like "Every Breath You Take" by The Police or "Dreams" by Fleetwood Mac and I thought they were super old. Now I can play "I'll Never Get Over You (Getting Over Me)" by Exposé (which I know you like) or "If You Asked Me To" and I feel like if it was yesterday that I listened to them for the first time.
