LuisMa Posted May 4, 2013 at 11:07 AM Author Posted May 4, 2013 at 11:07 AM I have booked flights and just need to sort out the hotel now.alot of places starting to book up fast it seems.I actually don't think Celine or Rene realise just how many fans will be traveling from different countries.I think Paris will prove that these mini tours are a good idea outside Vegas every now and then:-) Yes, it's a good idea. As most hotels have lax or no cancellation fees, that's the first thing I looked into before buying the tickets. I have also seen that there are some places that don't have a lot of options now, as many people are booking for those days. Quote

Well now that you mentioned it.. I know a few hotels myself, but I haven't yet made up my mind and would perhaps want to try something new. So what would you recommend; I'm planning to stay from 4 to 6 nights and my budget for two people would be about 500 euros max. I've stayed in Mary's Hotel, Central Hotel Paris (Montparnasse), Kyriad Italie Gobelins and Hotel Belfort before, so those I know. I really liked Central Hotel, but this time it's a bit too expensive for our budget (last time I only spent one night there). Alex_Incognito Posted May 4, 2013 at 09:52 PM Posted May 4, 2013 at 09:52 PM For a budget I suggest the following:The Hôtel Familia in the Latin Quarter is lovely.Hôtel Chopin in the Opéra District is very, very quaint. For more upscale, I've also done the Sofitel in La Defense and the Pullman hotel in La Defense, both were very nice as well as Le Meridien Etoile near the Champs-Elysees. Alex_Incognito Posted May 5, 2013 at 03:32 PM Posted May 5, 2013 at 03:32 PM I've not decided yet. I might stay somewhere new. I've never stayed on Montmartre before, so I'd like to give it a try. Quote "People pay 20-25 dollars to see you."- Céline Dion, 1990

Lol Me too!!! I can't concentrate on anything else than the concert and booking the flights and hotel etc!! And I would like to pass my days just listening to Céline and do nothing else!! But I really love how this tour is making me rediscover all of Céline's albums after quite a while, I mean for a few years I've been listening to Céline every now and then, and not on a daily basis as I used to do before that (not that my fandom would've become any less stronger), but now it's like years 1998-2008 all over again, haha! ;D Quote http://i342.photobucket.com/albums/o419/reamary/1338b390-8604-432c-8a00-e8e1052a92ba.jpgHELSINKI 9.6.2008 - PARIS 26.11.2013 - PARIS 28.6.2016 - STOCKHOLM 17.6.2017 !

I missed her shows in Australia and its always been in my bucket list to see her perform live. My daughter bought us the tickets( front row VIP) online as a present in Australia and informed me that getting there was my problem. So it happened. Eight years ago we saw Tina Turner live at the Bercy as we were passing through Paris. It was great. Quote

In fact, I wanted to buy such tickets but unfortunately, the partner is a company based in UK. As English is not my mother tongue and if there was a problem, I wouldn't know what to do, so I chose security: no VIP packages but I'll be there for the 5 shows. Quote
