why did you become a fan? how did she affect you?

i don't know if there is a topic for this already i did a mediocre search and didn't find anything :/

but i wanted to share how i feel about Celine herself and her music, how i become a fan and how she affects me in a way.

 

well first i had heard her music a long time ago,like when i was very small but back then i had no interest on music or any celebrities just playing with my barbies. XD years later i was on YouTube watching videos and i stumbled upon this video with Celine's 'skies of LA' playing, and i found her voice to be very captivating, flawless, just amazing and i started searching her up and listening to her music. From then on i become a fan learning about her everyday. since than i have been listening to her everyday 24/7 when possible and watching her videos etc.

 

she affected me by lifting me up even on those days when you're sad and you have no faith on things and just feel like giving up. Listening to her makes me forget about the world and my worries for a while ( and yes i'm young and you are probably like " you worried about what?? you haven't seen anything yet.") but what i'm trying to say is just she makes me happy or at least a bit better just by listening to her and watching her videos. her songs are mainly about love but yet in my opinion it's a bit more than that and not just love like husband and wife, girlfriend and boyfriend. There are some of her songs that also talk about family love mother love, etc. I'm pretty sure you guys know that and that's what i like too. she's more than just a singer she affects people and she knows that, and i think that's what keeps her going and motivated. it's probably tiring for her and there are days like " Omg do i really have to do this? i wanna stay home with my kids..." but she still goes on and gives her best because she knows that's what she needs to do and i'm pretty sure she loves it too but also because she has fans waiting on her. then again she can choose to stop her career right now and say "i'm done" and walk out without any regret. She chooses to go on because people look up to her and she even changed people's lives at one point it's amazing how a celebrity (in this case Celine) can do so much just with a voice, and a personality. and that's why i become a fan she affects people in a positive way. I have been a fan for about 3 years i think. there are long time fans here who knows Celine and her career better than i do. But i'll always be a fan and i just wanted to share this with you and hopefully people will share their story as well.

I became a fan because of my mom. She would always play her music around the house and in the car. And when i got older i fell in love with her voice and her personality and her story. The rest is history.
