guyddavies Posted March 31, 2013 at 02:00 PM Posted March 31, 2013 at 02:00 PM i know what you mean, celine needs someone who is a fan to work on her publicity, on her website etc. Imagine how different taking chances would have been if we had been the ones to pick the singles, I dont think it would have had the legs of 21 and lasted over a year, but id imagine surprise surprise and fade away would have been singles, I still think in certain countries like the UK alone should have been performed in that it still got into the ITUNES chart before it was released as a single, I just dont think it should have been released as a single, maybe it should have been included on the single of taking chances so that it pushed taking chances sales up. hopefully celines new album will do much better. I also wish she wouldnt release albums in november, march always worked for her in the past, her singles werent lost amongst the christmas songs, (shes AC and in the USA they switch to playing xmas music) adele released it in the first 2 months of last year, there was no competition so her singles could snowball as could her album, they could spend the first half of the year on promotion, then she did skyfall and it brought her back into the public eye, and then it was christmas, so it seems like her album was much longer ago than it was. Celine releases at christmas and by january its classed as last years stuff. hopefully Celines new album will do amazing, what she needs to do is release breakaway in june, incredible in september, then the album, and have a 3rd single with a special christmas song as a double A side (a new song) released at the beginning of november so that half way through november the radio stations can play the christmas song pushing the single sales up, and then in january release a 4th single and promote the album in a quiet time of the year. hopefully then Celine would have a massive chance of winning awards in 2014!!! Ive voted for Celine, ive probably got no faith what so ever because I dont even own 21, ive got SA on repeat, but if it goes of votes there is in my opinion about zero chance of an album of the year award 21 will win hands down. best entertainer though I can see her winning that for her celine show!!!
