Is it true that Thailand is a top tourist destination for European travellers?

Just would like to know whether or not Thailand is one of top favourite travel destinations for Europeans especially French and English people. Is it true?

I dunno about French and English, but I do know a lot of Dutch people love to go to Thailand

I don't know about French and English people either, but I do know a lot of Finnish people also love to go there. I think it must be one of the top favourite travel destinations for Finns cause I feel like everyone always goes there.

Yer, before university, most of my British friends went on a gap year, and visited Thailand.

 

It's cheap to get to and there are a lot of hostels for students and backpackers to stay in.

 

Much of Asia/Australasia is on gap year itineraries.

It's true for French people as well. Though lately there's been some bad things in the press about mysterious deaths.
