Our sources think Britney could do even better. LuisMa Posted January 12, 2013 at 04:19 PM Posted January 12, 2013 at 04:19 PM I just read it about this on TheSun. I have mixed feelings about it... but I hope she does well. "And TMZ have reported that Britney is already in talks with Las Vegas casino Caesars to get her own lucrative headline show in Sin City - following in the footsteps of fellow diva Celine Dion." DionFanAlways Posted January 12, 2013 at 04:26 PM Posted January 12, 2013 at 04:26 PM Don't get me wrong, I enjoy Britney as an entertainer. She has been around long enough now. I just thought it was funny the way TMZ reported it. Of course you have to look where the report came from................TMZ Quote I have had the time of my life following this woman! Much love.
Alex_Incognito Posted January 12, 2013 at 04:34 PM Posted January 12, 2013 at 04:34 PM (edited) I encourage it. Las Vegas doesn't have an act like Britney and I think she, like Celine, could draw in a large audience. People love Britney Edited January 12, 2013 at 04:35 PM by Alex_Incognito 1 Quote "People pay 20-25 dollars to see you."- Céline Dion, 1990
LuisMa Posted January 12, 2013 at 04:39 PM Posted January 12, 2013 at 04:39 PM If it's not a long-term residency, I think that will be great for her. That's where I have my mixed feelings, regarding the time she would spend there, if she signs up for it. And I think it's a smart move after quitting the lackluster X-Factor. I would definitely want to go see her. Quote
nuts2you Posted January 12, 2013 at 09:41 PM Posted January 12, 2013 at 09:41 PM are you people nuts, Celine is the best act to hit Las Vegas,,the reason why artisit are comeing to Sin City, 1 Quote
LuisMa Posted January 12, 2013 at 10:02 PM Posted January 12, 2013 at 10:02 PM I know that Celine is the greatest, and that people definitely go to Las Vegas to see her. But I also like Britney, and she has a different fan base than Celine, so I believe she could do great there as well. Quote
bgcalde Posted January 13, 2013 at 12:47 AM Posted January 13, 2013 at 12:47 AM I really don't think people would pay $200 plus ticket prices to see her in Vegas Quote
dmeredith Posted January 13, 2013 at 03:39 AM Posted January 13, 2013 at 03:39 AM I know that I won't go see her, and I personally don't know anyone who would. I don't dislike her. She's okay, but she isn't in the same league as Celine. Of course, that's my opinion. 1 Quote
Alex_Incognito Posted January 13, 2013 at 04:32 AM Posted January 13, 2013 at 04:32 AM (edited) Some of you need to get over your personal feelings and look at the stats, Britney Spears is right up there with Celine in being one of the best selling female artists. Her shows sell out and she rarely has a problem making it to #1...not to mention her management is completely up to date with what her fanbase wants. Of my generation, Britney is one of the biggest artists to come out. Don't call people "nuts" when your username has the word "nuts" in it. Does yours mean the other kind? DionFanAlways Posted January 13, 2013 at 12:39 PM Posted January 13, 2013 at 12:39 PM (edited) Yes I agree, she is one of the biggest artist. However as a "singer" she hasn't got the voice. Now as a dancer/entertainer she's good and will bring in fans to Vegas. Edited January 13, 2013 at 12:39 PM by DionFanAlways Quote I have had the time of my life following this woman! Much love.
Amethystj Posted January 13, 2013 at 03:17 PM Posted January 13, 2013 at 03:17 PM Yes, I would go see Britney If I was in Vegas, but I would not go to Vegas just to see her (for Celine I fly anywhere). Her show could do ok in Vegas, maybe not as good as Celine, but better than other artists I think. nuts2you Posted January 13, 2013 at 09:58 PM Posted January 13, 2013 at 09:58 PM this makes me wonder how long celine will stay there in Las vegas, cause you will have Shania, Celine ,Britney, Rod Stewart... Quote
bgcalde Posted January 13, 2013 at 10:04 PM Posted January 13, 2013 at 10:04 PM I don't think Celine is payed 100 million a year for the 70 shows she does a year... Quote
Alex_Incognito Posted January 13, 2013 at 10:22 PM Posted January 13, 2013 at 10:22 PM Why would Celine leave? She has no reason to: who says there has to be one artist performing in Vegas? 1 Quote "People pay 20-25 dollars to see you."- Céline Dion, 1990
nuts2you Posted January 14, 2013 at 12:23 AM Posted January 14, 2013 at 12:23 AM the question is how long will she stay, beyond 2014, Quote

aafass Posted January 14, 2013 at 04:22 AM Posted January 14, 2013 at 04:22 AM I thought celine was paid $100 million for the original three year a new day... contract, then an additional $100 million for the two year extension. I thought I heard it was the same for the latest three year run. 1 Quote
onix Posted January 14, 2013 at 10:00 PM Posted January 14, 2013 at 10:00 PM Well, she can't dance anymore, she can't sing, she can't play instruments, what would she do? The show should got A LOT of production to cover that. That show will be a lipsync fest of course Quote Celine Dion en Guadalajara, MexicoDiciembre 2008 http://img106.imageshack.us/img106/8506/tourmexicoxd9lk5.jpg
Koolan Posted January 15, 2013 at 05:26 AM Posted January 15, 2013 at 05:26 AM I'm surprised Caesars would want her to perform there. Didn't her last tour flop? I don't think she'll be able to sell out every night. 1 Quote Please support the forum by ordering through our Amazon.com referral link below. Click here to go to the Amazon homepage.

She barely dances anymore .... and its 100% lipped.... I think it would have to be REALLY spectacular to sell out. I mean her music is freaking great, but i have no interest in seeing her jumping on her feet while moving her arms here and there..... Circus tour was the worst, i thought it would improve with FF tour, not so much. And don't tell me she's not 25 anymore, Madonna is more than 50, and dances 100times more Quote
nuts2you Posted January 18, 2013 at 10:09 PM Posted January 18, 2013 at 10:09 PM (edited) http://www.crushable...ars-vegas-show/ This is really a big fat joke, she think she better then celine and can draw a lot more ppl in then our CELINE, what a flipinn JOKEWell we don’t know how much she’d be paid yet, because she hasn’t settled on a venue or signed a contract, but Celine Dion reportedly got $100 million to do 210 shows over the course of three years at Caesars, and she signed that contract just last year. And since it’s been speculated that Britney is an even bigger draw than Celine, she might clear substantially more. Early guesses and unsubstantiated rumors put the number closer to 150 Read more: http://www.crushable.com/2013/01/17/entertainment/britney-spears-vegas-show/#ixzz2IMrYBiar Edited January 18, 2013 at 10:13 PM by nuts2you Quote

I don't consider myself a fan of her but if I were in Vegas and britteu was there I'd love to go see her as will many other people , her die hard fans will be there and then the tourists that just wanna see a good show will fill the seats up all the way! Just like celine, the majority of this forum are Celine's die hard fans, yet in Vegas the percentage of die hard fans that's attend the show on a nightly basis is probably 5 to 10 percent maximum the rest are Vegas "tourists"/ "residents" that want to see a good "Vegas show". The same thing happens with Elton, shania, and will for Brittney. So I don't see her having a problem selling out at all! 1 Quote

garçon Posted January 19, 2013 at 10:29 PM Posted January 19, 2013 at 10:29 PM It just sounds awkward: Spears is having a similar deal as Celine had/has. Almost as if Celine is simple exchangeable for Britney. But this is simply untrue, regarding the lesser success -whether commercially or critically speaking- of Britney's latest tour. Although, with the schedule of the Colosseum stage getting more and more strained, the more likely Celine will perform outside Vegas; where her fans are. Quote
