France 2 Saturday, January 12th at 20:45 a new number of emission events 'Simplement pour un soir.'. A rendezvous led by Patrick Sabatier, and will be, promises broadcaster, "full of surprises, dreams, laughter, emotions and illusions."

The wildest dreams come true of the guests come to life and perform just for one night. Find in this unique program: Céline Dion, Mireille Mathieu, Chimène Badi, Garou, Véronique Jannot, Florent Pagny, Coluche, Henri Salvador, Vincent Niclo, Michel Berger, Joe Dassin, Gilbert Bécaud, Dany Brillant, Baptiste Giabiconi, Chantal Ladesou, Nolwenn Leroy

She looks amazing according to that picture! But sad its for singing again NMQP and not one of the new songs, like Si je n'ai rien de toi (would look great with that dress)

I wish we had those full performances of Attendre, SJNRDT, I mean, she did record them!!

 

Still, she hasn't performed NMQP in France yet so it could boost album sales a bit!

I think any performance of whatever song is a plus, and will definitely help album sales.

Exactly, this is going to be, like the show description says, the first time that she performs this song in France (if we don't count the short of improvised duet she did with Florent Pagny in 'Chabada' a few weeks ago). I can't wait for tonight, it's always nice to see some new footage of our Céline!

 

By the way, I think it was a very smart move from them to have recorded this performance in November and air it two months later; it's definitely going to help the album's sales in France even more, nearly 3 months after the release of this successful album.

I hope after january 20th they have something in mind. Like a new video, and a taped live performance in Vegas or sth like that!

I am sure they will, Sony Music won't let this great success die, at least not soon... It's cash for them! LOL So my guess, like I said a few days ago, is that the third single from the album (probably Qui Peut Vivre Sans Amour) will be released at the same time as one of the singles from the English record (like they did with A Cause and Alone back in 2008) but, this time, we'll probably get a music video for the third single as the sales of this album were MUCH better than the sales of 'D'elles'.

She was first to perform. She looked fab and sounded great. They talked a little after song.

Thanks so much for the link. It was appreciated. But can you believe I forgot to look if I could watch the show. She was very elegant and the performance was really great! Yet it was easy to see that she was tired 'cause that day was full of promotional TV appearances and recording of shows.
