chocolatechip15 Posted November 28, 2012 at 01:11 AM Posted November 28, 2012 at 01:11 AM I'm planning my first trip to Vegas this winter, and I was sort of surprised to see how very expensive any decent tickets are . . .it seems like you have to pay at least $ 140 to get anything halfway decent. I'm wondering what are the best seats that are not crazy expensive . .better to be in back rows in Mezz 1 (it looks like th front rows in Mezz 1are $ 375?!!?) or Rear Orch? Are there any seats that should be avoided? Is Mezz 2 really too far away? Any advice would be appreciated! Also, are the orchestra seats near the front *really* $ 1,375, or is that some crazy Ticketmaster thing? Do they actually sell out at that price?? Quote
DionFanAlways Posted November 28, 2012 at 04:19 AM Posted November 28, 2012 at 04:19 AM ^I was wondering the same thing for orchestra seats?? Quote I have had the time of my life following this woman! Much love.
nuts2you Posted November 28, 2012 at 11:43 PM Posted November 28, 2012 at 11:43 PM First the FORCH seat are $250, no matter where you sit, RORCH is $175, Mezz 1 they say they are very goood, in the front row, the Rear Mezz is like looking at a tiny person, cant see anything form back there,, as for the those $1375, yes its true, but worth it, cause you are really close to her, and get alot of gifts, I WILL NOT pay that much, I would wait until you get to the box office and do stand by line, or as they say take a chance at the last minute and see what available, 1 Quote
celinefanonline Posted November 28, 2012 at 11:45 PM Posted November 28, 2012 at 11:45 PM the front orchestra and those over priced one are like for those VIP package or sobut i know they will sale the ticket to normal price if the ticket was not sold in the last mins! Quote Courage don't you dare fail me now!
kerche Posted November 29, 2012 at 09:28 AM Posted November 29, 2012 at 09:28 AM Yeah, don't bother sitting in Mezz 2.I've sat in Mezz 1 and it's fairly decent as there aren't very many rows between the Row 1 and the back row. But you still feel a world away from Celine. I would just recommend Rear Orchestra if you don't exactly want to pay $250 for Front Orchestra. It is still worth the $175.People definitely pay over $1,000 for the VIP tickets as there are a lot of rich people/gamblers.... but sometimes you can be very lucky and get a last minute VIP seat for regular price! You have to make sure that you don't already have a ticket, because you are not allowed to exchange or "upgrade". Good luck!Anywhere from Section 3, 4, and 5 are pretty good for Rear Orchestra 1 Quote - Kerry -
Alex_Incognito Posted November 29, 2012 at 07:10 PM Posted November 29, 2012 at 07:10 PM Kerche,I just read your review of the Flamingo! I'm going to be staying there this January. Very well written. hugo020 Posted November 30, 2012 at 12:14 PM Posted November 30, 2012 at 12:14 PM Last August I Bought ticket at 250$ and the morning of the show saw that the very front row(1350) were the same price. SO I got my ticket exange and I had Celine look me right in the eyes a couple of time, blink at me and say hi! That was awwwwsome. So the morning of the show check and you could end up with amazing seat 1 Quote
chocolatechip15 Posted December 3, 2012 at 03:58 AM Author Posted December 3, 2012 at 03:58 AM I ended up getting rear orchestra seats, in the center section . . it came to about $ 200/ticket, with all the fees (which seems crazy!), but I am soooo excited! they seem like amazing seats! Quote
JCeline85 Posted December 4, 2012 at 03:05 AM Posted December 4, 2012 at 03:05 AM i have always had seats in FORCH2 which is to the right a bit but if you are in the first like 6 rows (BB-GG) these are great seats because you are so close to the stage. Really any seat in the colliseum is a good seat unless you're in the very last row in the 2nd Mezzanine. Quote The Wait Is Over?
kerche Posted December 6, 2012 at 07:15 AM Posted December 6, 2012 at 07:15 AM Kerche,I just read your review of the Flamingo! I'm going to be staying there this January. Very well written. I love when people use tripadvisor for what it's meant! You're welcome, even though my review was from 2010.I have since stayed at the Flamingo another 5x, mainly in the GO Room, and am continually satisfied.Their old rooms have upgraded (but not the bathrooms) and I've stayed in that too. Alex, when are you going in January? I'll be there in the middle of the month! Quote - Kerry -

Alex_Incognito Posted January 10, 2013 at 10:56 PM Posted January 10, 2013 at 10:56 PM I sat in the VERY last row on Sunday and I have to say that the seat wasn't bad. It's true: Not a bad seat in the house. 2 Quote "People pay 20-25 dollars to see you."- Céline Dion, 1990
LuisMa Posted January 11, 2013 at 06:11 PM Posted January 11, 2013 at 06:11 PM I sat in the VERY last row on Sunday and I have to say that the seat wasn't bad. It's true: Not a bad seat in the house. I think I'd love to sit in the very last row myself. If I get the chance to go this year or next, I'll probably sit there. Quote
chocolatechip15 Posted January 12, 2013 at 01:06 AM Author Posted January 12, 2013 at 01:06 AM Does the angle matter? Like, if you're in the very last row, but all the way on the side, is that different from being in the very last row in the center? Quote
Alex_Incognito Posted January 12, 2013 at 02:06 AM Posted January 12, 2013 at 02:06 AM Not really,no. Of course, center is more ideal Quote "People pay 20-25 dollars to see you."- Céline Dion, 1990
schaafi Posted January 18, 2013 at 12:58 PM Posted January 18, 2013 at 12:58 PM I would never ever pay lots of money for a trip to Vegas to see Celine and then save on the ticket price! Only the front orchestra is the real deal, the first five rows are very good and Celine is sooo close to you! So if you are planning your trip don't sit in the rear orchestra because you save 70 bucks, if you're on a budget then better just go once and see her really close than a couple of times from far away! I saw twenty shows, the only time I sat further away than front orch fourth row was at the premiere and back then I didn't know that you could still get good seats at the last minute and bought my ticket way in advance. I sat in the front row 12 times out of 20 and never bought a vip package in my life, so I'm assuring you that you can get good tickets for the "normal" price if you really want to! Mattie Posted January 18, 2013 at 02:45 PM Posted January 18, 2013 at 02:45 PM (edited) I sat I believe in either the sixth or seventh row and for the money I personally think it's better than a front row seat - that is unless you can afford a front row seat, then I say it's a deal worth getting. But if you are on a budget I think 250 dollars for a 6th/7th row seat isn't too bad. It was my first time going when I had chosen that row of seating and it was well worth it. Just try to get the end seats because you get to see more of Celine rather than the middle seats where all you get are the audience's heads! Here's a picture shown in orange where my mother and I sat. They were really lovely seats. http://s8.postimage.org/4jlakp9yd/Screen_Shot_2013_01_18_at_9_50_13_AM.png Edited January 18, 2013 at 02:53 PM by Mattie Quote ♦︎ july 7, 2012 - las vegas, nevadahttp://i59.tinypic.com/11tluus.png
kerche Posted January 21, 2013 at 11:02 AM Posted January 21, 2013 at 11:02 AM I've also sat front row and never paid more than $250 for my seat Sometimes you just get really lucky with a last minute ticket! Quote - Kerry -

I've been told you can purchase them at the last minute but that's a little risky for me to be traveling so far away incase I can't get a ticket. If I lived there that'd be fun to do though!
