Songs We've Never Heard

Today I read about 50 pages from "For Keeps" biodraphy of Celine, and I found out some interesting thing I didn't know.

Did you know, that in 1981, the demo tape (with Ce N'etait Qu'un Reve) included also another song written by Celine's mother- "Grand-maman" and a cover of Jean Lapointe song "Chante la ta-chanson"?

 

I was surprised it was new to me after so many years I'm a fan. Well, this thing just makes me upset. Why artists recording songs but never give us a chance to listen to?

 

I think we should knock on Celine's door someday, and beg for this Unreleased songs! Not just them, but all of them

 

So, this topic is to make a list of all the never-released Celine's songs and covers. what else do we know?

And didn't Celine also record 1 or 2 Christmas Songs that didn't make TAST?

I don't understand why Quand Ils Sont Là didn't make the final cut of 1F&4T 'cause it's a very good song and Celine's version (from what we heard) seems to be so good!

Just listen to the "One Heart" album. I think most if not all of those songs (with the exception of "I Drove All Night" were from the ANDHC sessions.

This song was recorded for a commercial for a Canadian shopping mall: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g5zvvoO1d9U. I think there's also a French version somewhere. This one minute clip is probably the full song, since it's just a jingle for a mall . .though I completely love it and think it would be amazing a regular song. Judging from Celine's hairstyle, it does look like it was recorded in TCOML era.

"I Have To Dream" from the movie Children on their Birthdays has also a studio version, but unfortunately they movie never had a soundtrack release. So that's another one to the list. I would have loved to have this song included in the tracklist of the ANDHC album for the special edition

Actually I think Celine DID record that song in the studio and gave it to Anne Marie and Marc Dupré on their wedding. Only Céline and this couple have the recording, I don't remember where I saw Celine saying it but I'll try to find the video.
