But it's called Black FRIDAY not Black Thursday and it's really irritating that now some retailers are pushing it forward as early as 8PM on Thanksgiving? I realize that in order to work on Black Friday employees had to start work on Thursday but now with it being pushed forward they will get even less of a Thanksgiving to spend with their family than in years past. BUT part of the fun of this was to wake up early/stay up late for those 3AM sales! Anyone can go to a sale at 8PM. BAH HUMBUG! And yes, I will probably still go to the 8PM Walmart Sale on Thanksgiving but I won't be as happy as if it had actually occurred on Black FRIDAY. 1 Quote
