Mattie Posted October 25, 2012 at 02:53 PM Posted October 25, 2012 at 02:53 PM I missed out in 2007 and 2008 to see Celine's Taking Chances, she was right here in D.C. How did I ever overlook that. Does anybody think she'll run another World Tour after her engagement in Vegas (2011 through 2014, I believe) is finished? After 2014, I honestly can't visualize another Vegas show for her. I think she should do something a little different, out of the ordinary. What do you think? Quote ♦︎ july 7, 2012 - las vegas, nevadahttp://i59.tinypic.com/11tluus.png
couldawouldashoulda Posted October 25, 2012 at 07:52 PM Posted October 25, 2012 at 07:52 PM I think the days of a Celine World Tour are over. At least not 18 months and hitting all those cities that she did. Weren't the twins born in 2010? I don't see her leaving Vegas until 2018-2020. I think this Vegas show is going to go on a LOT longer than her first one. After that, maybe she'll tour the United States with 25-30 shows. Perhaps do another 5-10 in Europe. I expect, with three children, to see her public performing scaled back. Clearly...this is just an opinion. Quote
takeachance Posted October 25, 2012 at 08:17 PM Posted October 25, 2012 at 08:17 PM I think shell definetely do one again!!! Just when the kids are a little older. Vegas is stable for her for now. Quote http://i66.tinypic.com/2dk08jn.gifRIP Rene Angelil xx Sending Love and Prayers to Celine
Kyle_Jared Posted October 25, 2012 at 10:09 PM Posted October 25, 2012 at 10:09 PM She can't do this same vegas show for the next 5 years straight. It just won't have the life to sustain it. I think they have a plan. If they were smart the contract they signed in Vegas should'nt be for 'consecutive' years, but rather in 'totality' such as a five year contract with matured dates set forth. For instance Contract signed from 2011-2014 (Break) and then contract in place for return/new vegas show (2018-2020). Then between 2014-2017 she can do what she wants (Break/Tour) etc but have the contract in place for her return. I'm sure Celine's star power is enough to articulate a mulit dementional and on her terms deal. After all she brings them money Quote
Mattie Posted October 25, 2012 at 10:10 PM Author Posted October 25, 2012 at 10:10 PM I hope she does do another tour. I agree on at least not doing 18 months full of performances. Maybe she could just do a US tour for a little if she isn't fully committed for out of US countries. Quote ♦︎ july 7, 2012 - las vegas, nevadahttp://i59.tinypic.com/11tluus.png

celinefanonline Posted October 25, 2012 at 11:39 PM Posted October 25, 2012 at 11:39 PM well maybe she can do mini tour here and there between her break from Vegas why not since it's only 70 shows a year for Vegas! Quote Courage don't you dare fail me now!

That would be a really good idea, give her something to do besides just Vegas alone. Quote ♦︎ july 7, 2012 - las vegas, nevadahttp://i59.tinypic.com/11tluus.png
couldawouldashoulda Posted October 26, 2012 at 03:48 PM Posted October 26, 2012 at 03:48 PM It kinda sounds to me, from the way Celine is talking these days, that she doesn't *want* to do very many shows outside of Vegas. She talks as if she's really enjoying doing only 70 shows a year, and then promoting new albums, doing one off benefits, corporate parties, etc. She has 3 children now. She's a Mom. She talks as if she likes it that way. Just sayin'. Quote
Yentl Anchel Posted October 27, 2012 at 07:26 PM Posted October 27, 2012 at 07:26 PM I think she is going to do another tour, maybe not as big as het last one but at least all the big cities in de EU and some cities in the USA.. But I don't think she is hitting the road again in Afrika... Quote Elle est mon idéal, La plus grande étoileWill be going to Celine march 2 and 5 2016 and June 20 and 21 2016
browseceline Posted October 31, 2012 at 05:51 PM Posted October 31, 2012 at 05:51 PM I don't think she will be touring in a long time. She is getting older, she has a family to take care of. Her mum is getting older, her children need stability. Maybe a couple of years later, in about 3 years? I wished she would go on a worldtour again, but I don't think she will in a long time. I think it would be very unfair on RC to take him out of school AGAIN for another world tour. Maybe she should wait till he is old enough to stay in Florida, then she can go with the twins when they're old enough to appreciate the world... 1 Quote
DionFanAlways Posted November 28, 2012 at 02:09 PM Posted November 28, 2012 at 02:09 PM (edited) I think it really depends on Rene...When he is to old or passes I don't see her touring. If you notice some of the recent videos he is slowing down. Edited November 28, 2012 at 02:10 PM by DionFanAlways Quote I have had the time of my life following this woman! Much love.
reaberle Posted December 18, 2012 at 05:26 AM Posted December 18, 2012 at 05:26 AM I am really hoping if she does another set of concerts that she includes dates in her native country of Canada. Quote
mimile Posted July 16, 2016 at 08:28 AM Posted July 16, 2016 at 08:28 AM I would say 2019 after her Vegas contract is over and the twins are old enough to enjoy a world tour, like she did with RC with the taking chances world tour. Quote

Verstuurd vanaf mijn SM-G901F met Tapatalk I could see a "vegas type" mini contract happening, but somewhere else. Anywhere in the world really lol. But my guess would be Canada or Europe. Maybe a french one? Somewhere where she plays 20 odd shows over 2 months or something. Mini residences. Quote
swimmer Posted July 29, 2016 at 01:45 AM Posted July 29, 2016 at 01:45 AM At this point, I see Celine staying in LV and continuing her residency. RC is in high school and has friends and stability. This is why she is selling the Florida home, she is making her home base in LV because that is where her kids need to be. The twins are going to start elementary school in next couple of years and she has said before that it was hard to take RC out of school and always moving around. She wants the twins to be able to make friends and not worry about moving around the country. I think now, more than ever she is intent on staying in LV and will do what she has been doing....LV shows that jive with her kids schedules and do summer tours here and there so that her kids can see the world without disrupting their schedule. I am sure they will mix up her LV show every few years, and maybe taking a year or two off. She will do what is best and smart for her children, but I also cannot see her not renewing a contract because she loves performing and she has said that she will continue to perform until she is physically unable to. 1 Quote
