I think it's possibly because she was due to be in London promoting the English album around that time and maybe this was part of the promo, but obviously the album has now been put back so she will not be in the UK until next year.

They use her name to attract more people...

...and then they will say Céline had to cancel - and make her look bad :angry2:

Thank you for postponing this "new" album. Really. Even if there is no new album she could at least perform an oldie or a new single. They don't think at all

 

I think Céline has more than enough just promoting her new French album in Canada and France.

I wonder what they were thinking when they wanted to release both albums at the same time!! :wacko:

I fully agree. Things change at the last minute, and CelineDion.com is not always aware of these changes - i.e. announcing the release of 'Water and a flame' in November on September 13th and the postponement after few days.

 

BTW, I did not add "Unconfirmed" in the topic title, and I do not support this change.

Plans do change - and i'd be quite surprised if Celine said no to performing for the Queen at the 100th anniversary show! Not without good reason. She doesn't need a new english album to promote to be there. And it's not be confirmed either way by official sources - it's only on the official website forum.

Pour que tu m'aimes encore was a Top 10 hit in England back in the days...

Or she could also sing Ne me quitte pas just like she will at the Bambi Awards in Germany. Why not?

When shes in london sony plan her schedule, travel etc and they said she wont be in london for it, so thats that... move on!

Mmmm... :hmm: What's going on??? I guess they should know already if she's gonna be there or not, right??? :shrug: I mean, this appearances are scheduled with a long time notice and they should get cancelled long before the moment's here, right? :blink:

Exactly, and the official website of the RVP mentioning her as one of the confirmed acts.... it's ridiculous!

I didn't think about that.. Maybe she won't physically be there, but she'll be on webcam or Skype. I'll be happy, as long as she's there, in person or over webcam. :clap:
