When Celine was in Montreal on the Taking Chances tour in 2008 Tracy L took a small group of us around to different Celine "spots" & this was one of them!! We also went to a bagel place & of course Charlemagne. Thanks for that Tracy, I had so much fun with you all that day!!!! :clap:

Those people must have flipped when Celine and Rene walked in. It's so nice of her to chat a bit to the people who said hello to her, and let them take pictures of her with them. Love the way she nibbles from everybody's plates, she was really enjoying herself. Poor Rene hardly ate anything.

Rene: we're gonna try to get a picture of one of those for you.

I love the part where the random woman who happens to be eating in the restaurant comes up to Celine and Rene and says she hasn't seen them "since the New Year's Eve party with Filizoff's" (no idea how to spell that name), and they remember Isidor Filizoff. It's so funny, because it's such a completely natural conversation that anyone could have with someone they run into in a restaurant, but it's amazing for a superstar like Celine to be having a conversation like that!

Part 3:

Celine: You wanna hear a good one? In the commercial, I say something, then I sing the jingle. But what's funny is that in trains, you can see me, but there's no sound! There's no sound in trains in Japan. So I sing, but no pound's coming out.

Rene: They're used to watching all commercials with no sound.

Celine: That's something, isn't it?

Rene: We saw the commercial, we thought the DVD was defective...

Celine: He thought "Oh, they sent me a copy with no sound". So he asks for another copy, still no sound. Then he tells them "There's no sound", and they say "No, it's ok, it's no going to have sound either when it airs."

Interviewer: It's the first time you have to promote a mute singer!

Rene: As they needed my approval, I watched the 15 sec. video, then a 30 sec. video, and then there's another one, with no sound. So I call them and say "There's no sound on the DVD you sent me". "No, no, it's ok, it's for trains".

Celine: It's like that.

Rene: There's no sound in any commercial in trains. You can only watch the images, when you're in the train.

Interviewer: Can you believe it? (laughs)

Celine: But we're happy still. Because Rene, he will never say "no" and then get mad at them, you know... (To a customer) You're welcome, mister, it's a pleasure. (Man says: "Could we take a little more of your time to take a picture?) Happy to! (She stands up, then talks to a little girl) Come here... Well, you'll take another one after. Mum, come with us! (Mother says "she's playing Dora...") Oh you're playing Dora... but we've gotta do it fast because Dora is not waiting forever! (Then, the girl hides her face, while in her mother's arms) I love that picture!
