Céline to open a new club

(12:36 p.m. GMT) Shaquille O'Neal, Celine Dion and Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf are investors in the Godzilla of Las Vegas nightclubs. Pure, a $14 million, 36,000-square-foot club featuring a Pussycat Dolls lounge, will open New Year's Eve next to the sports book at Caesars Palace.

 

"We've incorporated the best of London, South Beach, New York and Los Angeles," managing partner Robert Frey said Thursday during a tour of the megaclub, which includes a third-floor 14,000-square-foot terrace overlooking the Strip. His nightclub empire includes Coyote Ugly at New York-New York, Tangerine at Treasure Island and Bikinis at the Rio.

 

 

The article doesn't reveal if Céline will take part in the opening night of this nightclub... she will be performing her Vegas show "A New Day..." that night too (New Year's Eve).

LMAO! There we go picking on René again! Gyah! Perhaps Céline thought it sounded neat.

 

My idea is that perhaps she will be having her family there after the show for a party. I bet Céline's dancers would love to be there too.

 

Last year for New Years Eve she just used the colosseum. Dancers' family were invited to come and have a party there and later Céline and her family had a little fun in her Caesars Penthouse. She didn't leave until the next day. Maybe this time there will be a little fun at the new club. HOW FUN would that be!?

In related news, the singer [Mariah Carey] will also make a high-profile appearance on Dec. 31 when she hosts the grand opening of Pure nightclub at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.

I think its a neat idea....the article did say Celine was an "investor" it's not like it's a night club created by her...she's just investing in it is all...besides Celine has many fans who go clubbing....I would like to check out that club someday!
