You don't get quite the buzz you so listening to her in concert, but it's brilliant watched the concerts back to back.

I do this as well quite often my husband calls it 'having a Celine day'! My favourite ones are taking chances concert, a new day and the colour of my love . And yes it makes me very happy.

Taking Chances is the next concert tomorrow, though I hate watching it with my partner because he drools over her male dancers lol

I watched Celine: Through The Eyes Of The World with my girlfriend last week and she loved it! This afternoon, we watched the Live in Las Vegas - A New Day... DVD together and it was incredible. It's the DVD that made me fall in love with Celine and it still amazes me just like the first day.

My favourite is "A New Day"- That DVD puts me in great mood and love having it on in the background if i have to study or do something like that!! Its kind of the most exciting, its the DVD that really made me want to see her in Vegas! And ive done just that and continue to do so when i can!! So its fun! The best part of the DVD is "I drove all night" !! Love her performance of that...... Ya its a really great DVD!!! Celine days are cool.....youve put me in the mood to have one of those days very soon for myself !!!

 

Also really like "Live in Paris".... She looks so beautiful in this! And i love her performance of "Je Sais Pas" in this

For me - dont get me wrong i adore celines concert dvds - but i find myself watching her recording sessions - hearing her pure true voice amazes me - and find that in most dvds its been dubbed etc so they annoy me - so i watch the LTAL/TC recording sessions - my favs have to be The Reason/US/Surprise Surprise sessions - adore her vocals here

LTAL should be the best. Although the production cannot approach AND, TC or Celine, it is a REAL concert! Not something too rush and lacks aesthetic concept like TC or AND.

I have to start by saying how nice it is to have a positive topic in "Discussions." Thank you.

I may be the Only one on the planet, but I still do not have a DVD player. Plus, I can't see. Additionally, I do not have many of the concerts you all are referring to. I have the TC tour, (I SAW the TC tour) and am getting a friend to send a New Day boot-leg. In between computers at the moment, LTAL tour from NY is on there but I want it here on my main computer. I have never had Au Cor de Stad, A Olympia or Live in Paris.

If anyone wants to email some of these things to me a couple songs at a time, please PM me.

I also have to say that the few I have heard, I also Love her recording sessions. (The "My Love" one makes me sooooooo sad, and I think she was forced a bit too hard, but that's for another topic.)

I'm not so sure I agree with the last post about her DVD's being dubbed, I think they're all still so amazing. But there IS indeed something about the recording sessions and the authenticity/truth/purity of her raw/natural/true voice in those, I do agree.

I Celine days, I have them a lot with her studio albums. I'm diligent at collecting them, in both English and French, but not so much with her concerts, as you can tell. But with her studio albums, I do have these days often!

One thing I want to turn you all on to: it is a Whole Different world out there if you take anything of hers studio or, (but especially) live, in Headphones. It's a Very completely different world. For those of you especially whose significant others might not be quite as enthusiastic about her as you, yes you may not be able to "see" it, but just put her live or recorded on in headphones and you Will feel like you are there. Try it, I dare you!!!!!!

Au Coeur Du Stade remains my favourite DVD.

 

Ok Celine isn't at her best vocally but it does show her at the peak of her fame and the setting of 90,000 spectators in the Stade De France remains powerful to this day.

Oh man... I love all of them of course But I think my favourite would be Live a Paris I love listening LBDB, Quand on N'A Que l'Amour, The Power Of Love, etc. I loooooooooove those songs !!!

I think she is in good shape in this concert. I watched the other day and was amazed at MHWGO.

Well here's a list of my favorite moments/performances from each DVD:

 

The Colour Of My Love Concert: I love the beginning with her going through Quebec and showcasing all the beauty of the city. For sure Ce N'était Qu'un Rêve is another magical moment, dedicating the performance to her parents. I'm also amazed at Where Does My Heart Beat Now; can't believe how well the fans from Quebec received her very first anglophone hit. Also, the masterful rendition of Can't Help Falling In Love and her emotional (but lipped) performance of The Colour Of My Love to close the show. I think the show was filmed two months before she could tell to the world her feelings for René, so I guess singing that song for a "secret" person must have been hard for her.

 

Live à Paris: The beginning is incredible; from the backstage footage to the stunning first acapella notes of J'attendais. Le Blues Du Businessman showcases all her vocal power and you can clearly see how deeply it touches the audience. Another great moment is when Jean-Jacques Goldman joins Celine onstage; the fans go crazy. Prière Païenne is a fun uptempo number (one of my favorite French songs) and Vole is definitely the most emotional part of the concert.

 

Live in Memphis: The end of All By Myself gives me chills (and it gives chills to my dad too). She's f**** sexy on Declaration Of Love, and I think that she knows it! I love when the big choir is shown for Call The Man and the surprising performance of The Power Of The Dream (although it's not the best one from that tour). Finally, the very first seconds of Because You Loved Me are great too, the reaction of the audience is so good.

 

Au Coeur Du Stade: One of my favorite songs from this show has always been Let's Talk About Love, from the "Good Night, Paris!" to the powerful end of the performance. Powerful guitar moments on Je Sais Pas and breathtaking vocal performance of Je Crois Toi. I like the emotional performance of S'il Suffisait D'aimer and for sure the acoustic medley, with that gorgeous introduction. My Heart Will Go On is definitely the highlight of this concert; the song had just won a Grammy for Record Of The Year so it was still as hot and popular as in late 1997!

 

All The Way... A Decade Of Song & Video: When it comes to her early english music videos, I have to say that the video for Misled is definitely one of her most productive music videos; it helped the single to reach the first position of the top dance tracks! Of course, can't forget to mention the 7-minute-movie they did for It's All Coming Back To Me Now, I prefer the original version rather than the single version. I'll never get tired of seeing Celine wearing the outfit from the My Heart Will Go On music video; when I say "Celine Dion", that's probably the first image that comes to people's minds, and I'm glad. Fun and powerful video for That's The Way It Is. Also I wish they released the full CBS special on DVD... A moving video for Then You Look At Me and she looks SO HOT on both I Want You To Need Me and Live (For The One I Love).

 

On Ne Change Pas: I'm so thankful for Celine's team to have given us the Si Céline M'était Contée documentary, it's really interesting. I also love the music videos for Fais Ce Que Tu Voudras, Ziggy, Lolita, Incognito, L'amour Existe Encore, Zora Sourit and Je Ne Vous Oublie Pas.

 

Live in Las Vegas - A New Day...: My favorite DVD, like I said before. I'm in love with the FULL concert, so can't pick a single moment from the show. I also love all the bonus features, but specially the documentary Because You Loved Me: A Tribute To The Fans, it just gives me something to believe in.

 

Céline Sur Les Plaines: A very important concert for Celine's career. Great performances of Sous Le Vent and Tout Près Du Bonheur. Also, it's nice to see that they deleted Je Sais Pas and added On Ne Change Pas for this particular occasion. Amazing duets with Jean-Pierre Ferland and the final song of the show is very emotional for Celine.

 

Taking Chances World Tour: The Concert: I love the opening, and the performances of the songs from her latest album. You can see how fun she has singing them. The Prayer is another special moment from that show.

 

Tournée Mondiale Taking Chances: Le Spectacle: My favorite songs are Et S'il N'en Restait Qu'une (Je Serais Celle L'a) and Je Sais Pas. The speech at the beginning of the show is a great moment as well; it's great that they filmed her first meet and greet with the fans from Montreal in so many years.

 

Celine: Through The Eyes Of The World: I can't pick just one moment, the full documentary is a masterpiece for the fans.

oh yes, definitely a great idea! Sometimes, TV performances are better than the ones from her concert tours, for example; I think that the performance of Taking Chances from any TV show of late 2007 is far better than the one from the 2010 DVD.

I think the best live version of IACBTMN is the one she performed on Rosie back in 1997. Such powerful vocals.
