91-year-old marries 81-year-old bride after evening with Celine Dion

Just a nice story:

 

Celine Dion has no clue what she's caused. A gentlemanly act of kindness on a night when the Canadian diva belted out love song after love song at the Jamaica Jazz and Blues Festival in January has resulted in two lovely souls finding love again in the autumn of their lives.

 

A few weeks before the festival, 81-year-old Joyce Lewars' only New Year's resolution was to simply enjoy the opportunity of being alive to see another year and to celebrate this with family and friends by her side. Part of that plan was to go and see Celine Dion in concert on January 27 this year at the Trelawny Multi-purpose Stadium.

 

Some might say it was destined to be but it seems that by pure chance, a life-changing experience was in store for her that evening.

 

As Joyce alighted from the car that took her and others to the concert, a hand reached out and gently assisted her.

 

The show of kindness by 91-year-old Guy Willis, who was visiting from England and who was also a passenger in the car, touched more than just a hand. It apparently touched a heart and planted a seed.

 

Love grew

 

And after listening to Celine deliver from her repertoire of beautiful songs such as Because You Loved Me, My Heart Will Go On, The Power of Love, All By Myself, among others, it appeared that the seed of love grew and engulfed both Joyce and Guy.

I couldn't have said it better myself, Kay. She certainly does. I also like that they put it that way, because she definitely does "belt it out", one of the Many things I love about her.

I also agree wholeheartedly with the first line, "Celine Dion has no clue what she's caused". So so so true for many of us...
