Glee to cover more Celine songs?

Hi guys

I haven't seen this on another topic yet , but if it is I apologise,

I just read that Lea Michele has been bugging glee creator Ryan murphy about Celine songs , there is video from comic con I will try get the link up.

 

Anyways it got me thinking how brilliant it would be if they done a whole Celine episode this season , with the new albums due out , it would be great promo and it would get Celine out there to a younger audiance who may not have discovered her amazingness yet!

I remembered Ryan sent a twitter about 'Celine Dion Tribute' episode before. But he deleted soon...

All of this came out from the Comic-Con panel, and what Lea Michelle said was that she was asking Ryan Murphy for an specific Celine song she wanted to sing, she begged and begged and begged for the song, for the Nationals episode Ryan said to Lea: "I am going to give you your Celine song" which turned out to be IACBTMN, Lea said thank you BUT the song she wanted to sing was Tell Him which she didn't sing.

I am a huge Glee fan and would love a Celine episode. Hopefully next season we'll get a few more songs on the show.

Apparently also there was going to a a tribute episode to Céline, 2 hours long, but somewhere it said that they had moved onto Carole King instead.

I'd love Céline episode, don't get me wrong, but Rachel can'r sing them all. She's a good singer but apparently Lea Michelle is kinda like Rachel. She's got the voice for it, but other singers exist too like Amber Riley and the Jenna.

Lea is for sure going to be in all the episodes though. Most of the other "original" cast members of Glee are going to be on some episodes. It would be really awesome to have a Celine episode though I really like how Lea adores Celine, I find it rather cute. Or just in general when other celebrities say how much they like Celine haha. As much as I don't like her, Kim Kardashian really likes Celine too

I totally agree with you. Rachel seems to get all the good songs. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to hear her cover MHWGO, but like you said, Amber Reilly should get to sing a few of them too.
