I just wanted to know if Je Ne Vous Oublie Pas is one of the songs that were supposed to be on 1 Fille & 4 Types, or if it's a new song. I also wondered who wrote it and if it was written this year. Does anyone know?

This song is written by Jacques Veneruso and it is a brand new song from up-coming french GH

yes a new single which will be part of a french best of in shops in october. the videoclip has just been recorded in quebec in a cinema by a french director.

It is Cd of "Tout En Amour or Collector Series Vol 1" which it to color in black with a marker and it just left the logo and added "Je ne vous Oublie pas"

Well it will of course be an instrumental version. What do you expect??

 

I remember the days when the b-side was a new track (ITWIT)

 

And I can't see why they make all this fuss - recording video, releasing a cd-single, of a track like this. It's ok, it's sometimes good. But it is rushed through and doesn't hold a great single quality. - And don't tell me I'm never pleased...

Very beautiful song to thank her french and I guess you could say english fans also. I think she should sing the english version to her english fans so we can get a taste of the song in english.

I am so buying this French album. I have never heard anyone on this earth sing French as well as Celine.

So.

 

The first time I heard this track I felt 'ok, it's a track of an album, they did their best, but it's not in my taste'. It felt rushed through, refrain after refrain, no time for instrumental solo - just hit another refrain. I wasn't all exited. But I accepted it and complained no further since there probibly will be fans who'll like it. Some more than others. There was one thing I liked about it from the start though, it felt simple, almost acoustic, and piano being my favourite instrument (along jazz trumpets and wisps) and Céline being my favourite voice, the mix did a special move in my heart.

 

Then I tried to listen to it. But couldn't hold it on repeat for long. Booring, same stuff, repeaditive. Put it on the shelf.

 

Then I found out the true meaning with it. And was a bit sad that this wonderful message didn't come along in a better track, with better lyrics. But another chanse was given coz now it was no longer just a track, now it was a gift. And gifts you just don't throw away. Not from no one, and certainly not from someone that has made some great changes in your life. I tryed listen to it more often. But repeat didn't last long.

 

Then came the video. The message was more clear than ever. Like a punch in the face. And I felt quilty for not liking this gift. The visuality of the video brought it to new hights, but only temporary. The video makes hair on the back of my neck raise up, but when the track just plays along without images I stay as untouched as ever. Forcing myself listening to the track in hope I will grow to like the track even without images I went on....

 

And that's were I am at the moment: giving Je Ne Vous Oublie Pas a second chanse. I do not want to throw this gift hard at the wall so it breaks. I want to put it in center spot on the coffee table...

I think the song is better than the video.

The song did nothing to me before I saw the video. Now it has the whole new meaning. I was sending not very good words to Veneruso for writing such TOO simple song yet with wonderful meaning. But now the video did that all! I saw her smiling with the smile I missed so much. No more "american vegas" Celine. Just very simple and eyes-opened.

I thought this song is sad. And I didn't like it, didn't want to think... But now as I saw her tenderness through the words I feel almost happy. I want to believ in song's lyrics.

Video did it all by all meanings for me.

 

P.S. I even began to sing the song quietly while doing my homework

 

P.P.S Would be funny if they choose the same cover for the single also
