Hmmm, thats wierd..I posted a new topic about this earlier today but it never appeared.

 

The story is all over the place, how sad that they have to report something like this to find "dirt" on Celine. OMG she's soooo evil.

The guy ends up looking like an idiot. I get so tired of people trying to bilk celebrities out of the money they have actually worked hard for. Look at all the sueing that is going on with other celebs. It is far worse than this guy is trying to push on the Celine camp.

Celine Dion says the ex-employee who's suing her got more than enough cash to cover his alleged overtime -- and she says he turned down a $10,000 payout when he was fired.

 

TMZ broke the story, Keith Sturtevant -- a former "warehouse manager" for Celine and her husband -- filed a federal lawsuit ... claiming he was never paid overtime even though he regularly worked more than 40 hours per week during his 3 plus years of service.

 

But a rep for Celine tells TMZ, Sturtevant was "paid a handsome yearly salary that covered overtime for his services for three years."

 

In his lawsuit, Sturtevant says he originally made about $50,000 per year -- but eventually got a raise to $63,000 per year.

 

The rep also claims Sturtevant turned down a very handsome severance package -- vacation pay plus $10k -- when he was fired last month.

 

We're told Sturtevant got the boot due to poor performance.

I did a little research on this. Apparently this guy claims that he was promoted to "Manager" just so that he could do errands like fixing the gutters ect without being paid. Dion and Rene have yet to reply to this, and I doubt they will.

A salaried employee doesn't get overtime, so I'm not sure why he feels entitled. He's also a complete idiot for turning down $10,000.

where I work I have have not exactly been paid a high wage in my job, aviation has been my hobby for a life time and I love working in the industry for 30 years and always will and will always go that extra mile for anyone in my job and hobby.

As a big fan of Celine I would like to add if i ever did work for Celine and Rene, I would be glad to even in my own time in, it would be such an experience, honour and privilege on who I would be working for wow,I would guess it would be the same thoughts as any other serious fans who to would go that extra mile for Celine and Rene I just would not know what to say..... could dreams come true............ ?
