Michael Jackson medley replaced with Adele's "Rolling in the Deep"

not sure why Celine would do tribute to Adele? or the song is good, so she just wants to do it for a few months, then probably Whitney tribute? It would be right thing to do! Per say, replace Love can move mountains with I would dance with somebody or How will I know if he really loves me. or One Moment in time..or any Whitney song, please..

She will continue to perform the Michael Jackson medley when she returns to the Colosseum on June 9th. No ADELE cover will be added to the show. The only additions to the show will be additions from Celine's New Albums that are released in French and English in the fall."

ok, I don't post much but I must say. can we stop with the lipping debate. If you absolutely know 100% . I don't think anyone can 100% verify that! I would bet most who say this have never seen the show. I have and I can honestly say it isn't lipped. There comes a point when you can tell live singing or not. The youtube post don't count. I am VERY un-happy and angered by this. I first of all find it very rude/disrespectful to just replace MJ with Adele. Adele is hardly comparable to Michael freakin Jackson but whatever... And Rolling In The Deep in one of the most annoying songs I have heard in a long time.

And Not that I agree with it, but fine if you wanted to take out the MJ medley, cool beans. So tell me why an "Adele" tribute is a better idea than a Whitney Houston tribute? She has only expressed half her career that she loves Whitney! Or a Bee Gees Tribute? Another groups she has loved forever. Or I know I've got a real bizzare idea, how about more of her songs!? French medley? Of course not! that would be too crazy! Adele. Much better choice

 

I am so angry right now.... I rarely post on here but I had to say something...

I hope I wake up later and find out I was just dreaming and there is not a stupid Adele post on here.

Does it really matter? The medley for MJ was relevant in 2011. However just because she chooses to replace a medley that was paying tribute to MJ, doesn't mean she has to replace it with another to another artiste ? Celine can sing what ever she chooses

I'm so glad Celine's not gonna sing that awful Adele song.

Not sure who that member is and who emailed them back but yes the Montreal Journal does state it will be replaced. And it's been reported by other reliable sources as well. Doubting Thomases will find out on Sat

 

I'm glad the tribute is being phased out. Because people were starting to expect her to also do tributes to Whitney, or Rob Gibb or whomever else passes that has influenced her.
