ya i noticed that it was totally live too!! i was full sure it was going to be lipped , (as i read it all the time here!)so i was very pleasantly suprised and delighted when i realised it was totally live and a bit different every night" Sounded amazing! Her voice is in top notch

Well I'm happy about this song in the show. Honestly it's right up there with RDMH at the beginning of AND as far as her best vocals since the 90's. It was a reeeeally solid performance. Shows a lot of range and skill. She could totally sing any song she's ever recorded completely live and just nail it. She's strong vocally now. Glad we got rid of two playbacks and added another live song. Now if we can only hope that Alone will be live in the ending, and with ASFY that is 3 more live songs

Im confident she was doing the big note totally live all last week though. Ive seen it lipped before, but it wasnt last week, Maybe she doesnt lip everyweek now.Anyway ive said enough.People will believe what they want. But i also know when things are lipped and when they are not and ABM was totally live and for all you non believers so was the reason. No need to take my word for it though.

haha tyler when i went last month i noticed both nights that she's moving her hands around a lot these days. (specifically the hand not holding her mic) i noticed a lot when she riffed or did vocal trills, too. hehe. kinda cute

I cannot believe this!

Everyone knows I'm a huge Céline Dion fan...well most people do.

She has two knew albums coming out one on good old Francais and one in English.

 

One of the writers for her album also co-writes some of Adele's stuff. So people on the main Céline forums have been saying "oh she should sing 'Rolling in the Deep'" etc just because one of the writers on their albums in the same.

 

I agreed with one post which said something along the lines of "Why should Céline cover this song and ride on the fame of someone else, it just makes her dire".(if not already for all you non-fans out there)

New album should be good, waiting patiently for a while for some new material for my idol....until I look her up on Youtube and type in the year next to her name.

 

Not only has her manager or someone been perhaps listening to fans....which they have never done because they think they know what we want because they have all the money...but she and René (her husband/manager) have played right into the hands of stupidom....XD

 

Céline may have been able to pull this off in her 20-mid 30s, but not now. there's so much harshness in her voice. I think it has matured the wrong way. Her intonation of certain vowel and consonant sounds are becoming nasal again and truth be told I said to my other half "she sounds like an old granny".

The worst part for me as a fan and knowing all this is the beginning "I love Adele so much....she's amazing!"....oh come on woman! You love everyone that you're covering because you're told to say these things!

I can get why some people like it because they know Céline for doing certain types of songs and this suited her voice...stress on the word "suited". I really don't know who she or anyone is trying to impress with this. I think it's a bad decision.

 

But it's open for discussion...what are your views?

I agree; RITD is a great show ender for this show. (I personally consider LCMM and MHWGO an encore but that's just me. ) I enjoy RDMH but I wish she would retire it for a while. She hasn't made it stand out in this show; if she would like to do a Tina cover I say go for Goldeneye during the Bond medley. Any new news on the Bond song for this upcoming movie? I heard rumors that Adelle was going to sing it, but I hope not. I like Adelle; but someone else with more experience in the business should do the Bond song.
