Did Adele and One Direction manage to rejuvenate the pop trend for this decade?

Rubbish. Lmao.

Although i hope this topic doesn't turn into a thread to hate on the current music, despite what it is.

Definitely pop/upbeat songs that can be remixed easily.

I hope we get more decent pop songs and ballads! Good point about Adele and One Direction!

Adele actually did bring back an actual ballad though so we have to thank her for that.

Other than that it's mainly songs about sex that have a catchy rhythm to it. Once and a while it seems there will be those "inspirational" songs about how 'you're a firework' and you can do it or something but then it goes back to that trashy kind of music.
