Jessica Sanchez did an awesome job with "The Prayer" on American Idol last night. I love how much exposure this song is getting in recent years. The Prayer is definitely going to be forever remembered as a classic. Beautiful:

Jessica Sanchez's second "American Idol" finale song -- her self-chosen favorite performance of the season -- is Celine Dion's version of "The Prayer."

 

It's sung perfectly, with just the right touch of emotion and pace -- slow, deliberate and compelling.

 

Can't take your eyes away; she performs it like a pro, one of those songs she was just born to sing. Easily nails the high notes, gets a big reaction from the audience
