Robin Gibb passes away

Today Robin Gibb has passed away. He, along with his brother Maurice and Barry, wrote "Immortality" and performed it alongside Celine. The Beegees will be remembered as one of the best selling bands of all time.

 

My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.

It's crazy and sad how many legends we have lost over the past 5 years...

Very sad news. The Bee Gees were prolific, legendary songwriters. Music has become a little less melodious today. I hope Celine is quick to offer her words of condolence. Immortality is surely one of the songs a lot of people will be thinking about today. It's lyrics are very apt.

Although this wasn't unexpected at all, I'm very, very sad about the fact that he passed away. RIP Robin Gibb!

 

The way the Bee Gees spoke about Céline is indeed very touching and watching that video almost made me cry, I guess, I'm a bit too emotional at the moment.

Anyway, I hope too that Céline is going to be quick with offering her words of condolence.

I think she could prepare a performance of Immortality for her comeback concert on June 9 as a tribute to him, she still has time enough to do it I think. Maybe not with holograms but she could do something like they did with The Prayer during the Taking Chances World Tour.
