Toppers in Concert: Glennis Grace doing My heart will go on

every year there is a special over the top concert in Holland, "The Toppers in Concert" in our biggest venue, the Amsterdam Arena.

The theme of this year is The Loveboat. The whole stadium is turned into one giant over the top boat, complete

with a stage in the shape of a boat etc. And Glennis grace our national pride was asked to do several guest appearances during this concert,

one of them was Celine's My heart will go on which she sang together with Rene Froger, one of the leadsingers of the Toppers in concert.

(we call people toppers to say - they are really good ). I think she did a good job here, a very good one in my opinion!

People are singing along too, it is like a karaoke concert because all the lyrics of the songs are shown on the screens

and even the screen look like windows on a boat ;-)

 

She also did some Whitney songs and Beyonce songs, but this one is really one of the highlights of this concert.

Ik vind Rene hier totaal niks toevoegen en hij ziet er niet uit in die kleren ook nog haha

Maar ben het er niet mee eens dat Glennis dit niet kan zingen. Ze kan alles zingen!

Oke ze kan soms een beetje moeite hebben met overal op te reageren , maar zo is Glennis.

Maar los van dat alles, dit is toch een wereldtalent! ?

she is not just someone in my opinion. She has one of the best vocals in the world in my opinion! Her voice comes closer to Whitney Houston

's than any other artist in the world. Glennis Grace won the Dutch soundmixshow ( cover singing/imitating idol) at a very young age with her

interpretation of One Moment in time

Such a shame talent is often not appreciated here in the Netherlands when it's someone from our own country.

If she was from abroad we would be the first to embrace her.

Glad she finally gets some recognition after all these years.

amen! I love her new album too, but just like Celine she should try to get rid of coversongs. I think what she needs is talented producers like the productionteam behind Whitney, Alicia Keys, Celine. I know she is already very happy with how things are going now. But she needs her own signature songs. She has proven that she can sing almost everything. Now it is about time for her to get some signature songs.

This september I wil be going to her concert... can't wait!
