Brahms' Lullaby

Hi,

 

On These Are Special Times we can find "Brahm's Lullaby" and it says © 1998.

But Celine recorded this song in 1996 for the For Our Children Too compilation.

 

Does anyone know if these are two different recordings or exactly te same?

I'd have to fact check, but I believe the earlier version has a bit of extra ad-libbing. They used a slightly different vocal edit for the later version, and so maybe they re-copyrighted it for 1998.

Where can I find the older version?

Actually they're not. You just have to play both of them at the same time to hear they are stricly identical

Interesting topic. Does anyone know if "The Christmas Song" version on These Are Special Times is the same as the version on David Foster's 1993 Christmas Album? There's no copyright date on it in the TAST album.
